i'll wait until the 1st owner in this forum get his car n tell his experience... BTW, i heard, Honda Malaysia concentrate all their production into City currently.. 3K units booked before launch... they planned to produce 3K unit per month

so i'm seeing for those who booked their car now, they might get their car earlier than expected..

My SA recommended Public Bank... I'm taking quite a rather loan amount (and tenure) 'cos I don't want to pay so much interest..

me too! im intended to loan 40k for 3 years. hopefully till then the interest are lower.

this morning.. i went again to the showroom.. argh.. the waiting list now is 5 months... just after 2 days, kena tunggu 2 more months..

Finally, i decided to book it.. hahaha... my car will be coming in May

I think alot of the cars booked from the launch date ie. 18/12/08 will arrive sometime in April - May (at least for the E-Spec).
Partly 'cos the production level for the S-Spec is more as compared to the E-Spec. But my SA said Honda might revert to
producing more E-Spec to compensate with the demand. But at this point, it's still speculation.. He'll let me know probably
in a month's time when they give their feedback to HM

tested this car at old klang road. Good responsive, sound insulation also good, roaring vtec engine sound beautiful, the sound system also good. Didn't got the chance to drive 100kmh bloody old klang road jam because of stupid midvalley. The seating also comfortable, better than my lousy Potong gen2. Shall place booking next year 3Q for E spec. I don't want be white mice.

The only thing i dislike is the CD player tilt cover, I wonder what is the lifespan for the twist and turn. hmmm.

You booked for S-Spec or E-Spec? You mean S-Spec or E-Spec have to wait for 5months? I'm going to Honda Showroom at Jalan 222 for test drive, after test drive, if satisfy will place RM2k for booking.

Most probably E-Spec. SA told me for E-Spec, at least 3 months (if you booked the last couple of days).

I usually where like that everywhere I go.
Maybe the SAs had too many customers on hand.. so they didn't bother.
Next time you should walk up to one of the them, and within listening range...you should go and probably call your brother on the hp and say"
"Hey bro... I'm in the Honda showroom. So many SAs around and I want to buy the new Honda (don't state which one) but nobody wanna layan me, aiya.. if that's the case.. think I'll go to Toyota and buy the Camry la..."

Then look piss and walk out.

Mine is E-Spec.. For me, i'm satisfy enough with the car... but so far no review from any owner...
but the SA told me, at 180kmph, the car is still convenient to drive...

Just Came back from HONDA showroom and have a test drive just now.
Many ppl claim that this city is under power , but the power is quite impressive to me (for 1.5L) .

For the normal D mode , yes the power is a bit low maybe this is design for the fuel efficiency mode. This situation is obvious when u suddenly on up hill . For the S mode with paddle shift , is very impressive power show up (It is definitely not under power on this mode) . When u require more aggressive driving , sure have to go with E Spec .

I also did a hard cornering , the SA was shock at the rear, lol .
E spec come with 185/R16 is quite good on the cornering .

Another impressive is the Electric power steering and the telescopic steering adjustment .

E spec - PPM / Silver - Booked before launching, will get the car around feb/march.
