I'm getting my car sometimes in January. I've book the car few days ago before the official launch. Launched price is lower than my expectation which is good. Can't wait to get my hand on the wheel

.. think I'm gonna switch to the E-Spec, tml going to the showroom again and to bring my current car in to see how much can trade in. Hopefully the waiting period isn't more than 3 months..hmm. Heard from my SA the popular colors are Black and PMM.
*
As expected. Now the hottest Honda colours are Nighthawk Black and Polished Metal Metallic.
Long live Polished Metal Metallic.

Guys..just back from the show room. I have test drive the car....anyone notice...this car don't have auto lock??? The previous version, when i press the minyak, the car will auto lock...but surprisingly...this car never lock....what happen to the lock???
*
i think this is the current set up for Honda. Both Civic 1.8 or 2.0 also same.. there is a lock switch at the power window switch. Need to lock and unlock manually.. mad.gif

QUOTE(wackyflik @ Dec 18 2008, 08:44 PM)
really meh??? i didn't get a chance to test drive. if this is true, than it is similar with civic 1.8.
*
Similiar to 1.8 and 2.0 Civic blink.gif

Hi Guys,

Just want to know, let's say i go and buy number plate myself from JPJ, does that mean that the Sales office need to give me back RM50? RM50 is for physical number plate on the car or getting the number from JPJ?

Grade S
Car: RM82,272.50
Road tax: RM90
Reg. Fee: RM150
Number Plate: RM50 <----
Owbership Endorsement Fee: RM50
Insurance: RM2,367.50
Total: RM84,980.00
*
If I remember correctly its for the physical plate. I asked for custom made so to speak, supposingly need to pay my SA additional RM 80. But end of the day, he said..never mind.. cool2.gif

Check with your SA see how this apply to.. If needed verify with other source from Bros here with info from different SA.

I get to test drive at 9:30am and of course i am the first one to get to test the awesome car. The SA was such a good guy because this morning he even call me up to inform me don't forget to come test drive. But in the end i ask my friend to book for me, sorry for the SA who work at the showroom near by my office. I'm going for E spec, modulo kit and v-cool.

To be honest, i rated this car 90% rather than 100%. Because the interior is way too normal, i expect more from HM.
*
went to showroom juz now, cant able to test drive as too many waiting test driver. erm... basically i would say big congrats to HM. really impressive this gen of city. the door closing is solid. seat and cushion is comfortable enough. the price is making alot of us happy either i guess. black color is really nice looking. but 1 thing i wonder is the modulo kit cost Rm 4.7k, but without the front grile like singapore or thailand has. modulo kit for malaysia only got the optimus prime grile. besides, the modulo RIM have to add few thousand to get. so if E spec + modulo kit + modulo RIM = RM 98k++ then plus v-kool = RM 100k. WOW!

btw, the modulo kit this time is really fit to the city. black, silver and polished metal are really great. deep lapis blue is gorgeous too.
after go to see the real honda city... i suddenly think that toyota vios is really too simple and low end compare to this fully loaded new machine. icon_rolleyes.gif

Added on December 18, 2008, 11:10 pmactually i expect more from honda regarding the interior, instead of the silver coating dashboard, i would rather prefer honda improve it. and the meter is too simple and normal with red color, i would rather prefer is white...

My new CR-V have this switch also, but when I accelerate, it locks. When I shift to P, it automatically unlocks.
I don't need to unlock and lock myself.

Shit. so busy with work...

Reach S Room at around 8.30pm and there was a big crowd and I think some of them were there for free food!

Guys notice or not, there is a vibration sensor near the roof lamp. thumbup.gif

It's not vibration sensor. It's alarm sensor to be exact.

I know what you meant. It detects unauthorised motion in the car when alarm is activated.

1. Vibration sensor senses vibrations inside the car when a car thief attempts to break. It activates the alarm and immobiliser making the car cannot start at all.
2. Waveblade key cannot be duplicated at your neighbourhood key shop thus making it safe even though you lose the key. tongue.gif

Wokay.. decided on the E-Spec! tomorrow want to test drive again. Didn't notice, but does the key have a boot release mechanism? ie. just press the button and release? Modulo kit is overpriced.. the rear under-spoiler is quite ugly tho, imho.

Modulo kits are always overpriced.
Imagine, just a piece of stupid spoiler, door visors and 1 pair of side step on my CR-V costs me RM5k.
Damn it.
