QUOTE(miaopurr @ Apr 24 2010, 10:28 PM) here's roughly what a Sinn U1 would look like on my wrist. taken from http://forums.watchuseek.com/showpost.php?...15&postcount=35 and that's a U1 on a 6.5" wrist. mine's 6" only just go in and try in on and get a feel. can see u are still indecisive its Sinn, Omega or Doxa..

QUOTE(patryn33 @ Apr 24 2010, 10:47 AM) saw u post the link there thought u may have got from them. Breguet hands... try china seagull they are affordable. that swatch isn't it a quartz? more on http://www.seagullwatch.com prices in rmb. simple clean design should cost ~ RMB$780 http://www.usseagull.com/production.asp?cid=1&pid=14Wow, cheap and nice, thanks for the info! And according to WatchUSeek, Seagull movements are very accurate too. Might just consider them for my next watch No, that Swatch is an automatic. The other automatic is a skeleton. The rest are chrono, I believe. This post has been edited by Dannyl: Apr 25 2010, 09:05 AM

LEMONS!

QUOTE(patryn33 @ Apr 25 2010, 08:33 PM) yeap. i've got a few names on my list. it'll be my goal, one at a time. if all goes well, i'll get one very soon. i think, for a 6" wrist, the perfect size is 42mm diameter, 47mm lug-to-lug, 13mm thick. but this is my opinion. The PRC200 yellow needle and the Automatic 1 is RM1K difference The Automatic seems much more class n professional look However its quite huge for my hand. the auto is more sporty.. not really classy IMHO the auto is 4mm larger.. auto esp 7750 usually cost more. the movement along cost around US$400 already. the quartz maybe US$70. so the extra 1k u putting up isn't really that much. U might wanna look for Hamilton, maybe Christopher Ward (http://www.christopherward.co.uk/), similar price range. This post has been edited by patryn33: Apr 25 2010, 09:47 PM

wait, what do u mean class n professional? a dress watch suitable to wear to office n functions? or something that looks like a tool watch? or something that looks looks serious like military type? do you want a clean dial or a busy dial like chrono?
how about certina?
somehow, the only watch i could think of that is classy n professional at the same time is Omega SMP. or Omega PO. or Rolex Submariner

QUOTE(terencetoo @ Apr 25 2010, 10:34 PM) Here u are miaopurr Lady watch simple and nice. retail rm$4.5-5k I think. look like rolex datejust, or Tudor classic esp the cyclops eye. look something those titoni cosmo queen too (in fact ball and titoni using the same unmod eta 2671). they are not big in malaysa but big in thailand, certina is kinda big locally. http://www.orolus.com/cgi-bin/ShoppingCart...=.&search_logo= Added on April 26, 2010, 4:00 amjust curious what do u think of the swiss railroad clock found in Railway station or Boston airport This post has been edited by patryn33: Apr 26 2010, 04:00 AM

the best female watch in the sub 5k price range..IMO. the Tag Heuer F1 Ceramic http://www.calibre11.com/tag-heuer-f1-ceramic/patryn33: I like it, the round one. where to find a cheap design inspired one? though i think you should start a Clock Thread for that This post has been edited by Jason: Apr 26 2010, 12:11 PM

arent those railway clocks implemented in Mondaine watches? IMHO still one of the best design in terms of visibility and ease of time telling...

QUOTE(Jason @ Apr 26 2010, 05:45 PM) sorry, couldn't help myself. no worries...but i think from far...Mondaine still win le...also more attractive-le... nothing like seeing Train arrive when seconds hands touch 12, as compared to digital display turning 00
