TAG? Suggest Retail in the U.S. and Canada for approximately US$1,200 for the non-diamond and US$1,700 for the diamond models.
On Tag site its on ETA F05.111, here the movement cost US$16. the case and bracelet cost a bomb.
Movement only cost USD16? Even cheaper than ETA clone from China? shocking.gif

hey anyone tried to service their watch at TSC at amcorp mall? i head it is quite good there. I just worried if they really use genuine spare part as opposed to using some cheaper/non genuine subtitute.

HW-Racer : post some shots biggrin.gif Poison me please. I've been thinking of getting one for months now and have yet to pull the trigger. Heard Ball's pricing will go up next month or end of this month. 30% disc ?
*
yes... brows.gif

if not for the generous discounts ,,,and pricing going up... i won't pull the trigger so fast... actually the orange bezel Diver II is nice too...

like the night lume on this Diver II (T25) better than my previous Night Train (T100 lume) and Firemen I..maybe because the numerals
lume make it stand out and not so boring.... icon_rolleyes.gif

not yet, still waiting for the official ordering page, IF i decide to order that is. gotta know the price first. but.... this will seriously change my WIS list hahaha!

this kingston is exactly the same size as my seiko chrono, down to the bracelet too!

ETA 2836 must be more expensive than 2824, right?

some of the kingston spec

Crystal: Domed sapphire with AR coating on the interior
Crown: Trip-lock style crown (8 mm diameter)
Dial: primary dial will be non-date with perhaps a date option
Movement: 2836-2, Elabore grade with Incabloc shock protection
Bracelet: 20mm tapers to 16mm
Date (Option): It will be a 3 o'clock date window, beveled but without a border. Date wheel will be a standard white with black text
Lume: C3 Superluminova

Not sure about the differences between 2824 and 2836. Is it limited edition? I guess should be below RM3k rclxub.gif

whats the pt of using a ETA 2836 since there isn't day date display?
the diff btw ETA 2836 and 2824 is the day. ETA 2824 don't have day.
2836 belong to the same family as 2824.
ETA 289X series then is a upgrade from 2824 family.

that MKII Kingston, pre ordering alreadying going on, 200 pcs are gone! prices already out.
size maybe nice for miaopurr, close to 40mm

Pre-order Price: USD$700 on bracelet plus S&H
Standard Price: USD$875.00 on bracelet plus S&H

wont Rolex seek legal issues with them? both models look very similar...
or perhaps they already got special agreement with Rolex?

I might be wrong, but Panerai are quite particular about this...

this type? issue with alot German mechanical clocks parts are brass made. according to the watchmaker here. They told me only can last 30-40yrs then I would need to get a new movement! they only recommend me to service it 1 time after 5-10yrs then don't service it as its not worth the money. here it cost over US$150 to get it cleaned and oil. a new movement may cost close to price of new clock.

I doubt Rolex can do anything, I doubt the design is patent or copyright.
so many homage on Pam too, what can they do so long didn't violate any patent/copyright laws they cannot do anything.
thats why U still see Pammy homages around. their special locking mech, 1-2mths ago I saw on magazine a new company just patent a very similar locking device.
eg magrette or RXW even Vollmer.

13) Many models come with a night shut-off switch which turns the cuckoo and/or music off. The shut-off lever is located on the side of the clock or can be a push-pull rod located underneath the clock.
