it is normal it depends on what you have turned on wifi, music, blue tooth... basically heavy processing reduces your estimated time. and one thing to note, the time indicated is an estimate not an accurate time

QUOTE(xellesia70 @ Dec 20 2008, 07:16 PM) Hi, I just bought a Macbook alu 2.0 Ghz.So, I am new into this. Just wanna ask about the battery for Macbook. Cos when i bought it, i directly used it while it is still charging. Then, I can use it up to 5 hrs after complete charging. Now after I complete charging for the 2nd time, the battery can last about 3 hours only. I only use it for Internet browsing and listening to some music. Is this normal? Sorry for asking this kind of question. just curious. TQ My new MBP was only 2 weeks old. A fully charged only indicates a little over 2 hours only... Is this normal?

Haha.. Just sent the invites to yourself, on other email accounts that is. That will ensure that your "invites" responds. Btw, you can send more than 2... ok hi guys,
an update of my MBP... i've send the dang thing to mac 2nd time this year.
1st it was only about the keyboard, key no.9 was not functioning as normal.
And i tot it was rectified by change of mobo and logic board.
now it has more problems. bluetooth not functioning as normal as it should (like browse files and send files, when i click nothing happens.) and the graphic card goes all faulty for wakeup and the best part is the no.9 is still having the same problem.
so was the mobo and logic board changed? goddamn conspiracy. Steve Jobs has done it to me again! Bloody chap. ganti baru la sial.

QUOTE(victorchew @ Dec 22 2008, 08:12 AM) How to do the calibration? http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1490QUOTE The battery calibration for the PowerBook G4 (15-inch Double-Layer SD) and any model of MacBook or MacBook Pro has been updated because of a new battery released with this computer. With these computers, follow these steps to calibrate your battery:
(1) Plug in the power adapter and fully charge your PowerBook's battery until the light ring or LED on the power adapter plug changes to green and the onscreen meter in the menu bar indicates that the battery is fully charged.
(2) Allow the battery to rest in the fully charged state for at least two hours. You may use your computer during this time as long as the adapter is plugged in.
(3) Disconnect the power adapter with the computer still on and start running the computer off battery power. You may use your computer during this time. When your battery gets low, you will see the low battery warning dialog on the screen.
(4) Continue to keep your computer on until it goes to sleep. Save all your work and close all applications when the battery gets very low, before the computer goes to sleep.
(5) Turn off the computer or allow it to sleep for five hours or more. Connect the power adapter and leave it connected until the battery is fully charged again.
