Hi nbee/maesus (or whoever using Dutty V3 XT)I use HD Tweak (and also the regedit) to hide the SIM contact but when I reboot my HD, the SIM contact re-appear.
Do you encountered this?
Cheers....

OK< here's the registry tweak:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Phone "ShowSim"=dword:0 check that after soft reset, does this registry revert back to "1"? If yes, then there's something in your StartUp apps that cause this. |

Apparently, this is a common problem for those who have flashed Dutty v3.0. I don't have any contacts in my SIM, so I can't confirm.

Hi DrWho,Oh ok, if it's common, then I just wait for his new release to solve this problem. As for interim solution, I have to hide the SIM contact everytime I reboot. Cheers, Danny |

try that registry tweak, then power off by holding the power button. Then turn on again and see.
I don't know what is causing the registry tweak to revert back to "1", it has to be one of the startup apps/services |

Guys I have a question, does your SD card working after flashing 1.56 ROMS eg. Dutty's V3? there's a thread now in the XDA-DEV forums about SD card not working after flashing 1.56 ROMS and a lot of people are affected. There is still no solution for this.

I don't have a problem with mine. I yanked out my battery just before the first boot after the ROM flash. |

OT: rajat, could have at least put spoiler when you quote the 1st post...besides, you can check out LYN trade zone / garage sales for the latest price...if you are really interested in getting Touch HD i believe you would have done a bit of research on your part... |

The SD card problem with Dutty... it seems like a sticky bit somewhere inside some apps or registry settings - the SD card is always set as "storage device HDD" rather than normal ActiveSync accessible Storage Card.
I don't have those problems you guys mentioned (SD card, contact vs SIM) with Dutty v3. The problem doesn't seem to be with the ROM, but something else. What apps do you guys install after hard-reset the new ROM? |
