The latest Official ROM released in UK is WWE_1.56.405.1 and you can get it from here. or goto to HTC Site to download with this serial no: xxxxxxxxxxxx

Once flashed with this ROM your SIS warranty will be void unless you reflashed it back to Malaysia/Singapore ROM.

You need USPL method to flash to Dutty V3.0. First you have to flash to a 1.56 stock ROM before flashing the Dutty v3.0 ROM.
Dutty V3.0 Radio is 1.13.25.24

The Dutty V3.0 is a BEAUTY drool.gif

EDIT: Having second thoughts about posting the serial no. So deleted it, unless Mod can confirm it is OK.

I'm having a asia unit which does not have 1.56 stock ROM yet. Does it mean I have to use USPL to flash any 1.56 stock ROM before flashing it to Dutty v3.0?
Will the Radio version:1.09.25.14 work with Dutty v3.0? I think the latest radio version is 1.14 now..
by the way, how to edit the registry in HD? Do I need special program in the HD to locate the registry files?

That was what I did. I started with Malaysia/Singapore ROM and USPL>WWE_1.56 EU ROM>USPL>Dutty V3.0 ROM. As I mentioned above, read instruction CAREFULLY for a trouble free flash.

Be very careful with editing the registry if you have not edited registry before. I find the best way to edit the registry is via the PC connected to your device. Less room for error. Use the freeCeRegEditor to edit your registry from your PC. Install the program at your PC and connect device via ActiveSync. If you want to edit registry from Device use RegEdit that comes with Duttyv3.0.

Thanks DrWho.
Next question, is it possible to downgrade the Radio Version after updating to higher version?
For warranty purposes.

Yes. First need to downgrade the SPL version to your stock one (those who still use Stock ROM, check that your SPL version is it 1.14 or 1.15?) , then after that just flash with your stock ROM, as stock ROM has Radio built-in.

Yes. I flashed a UK 1.56 stock ROM and the flash went good over SPL and RADIO but refused to continue after "splash" which I suspect is some specific telco requirements that the phone must have UK/EU serial number. But the most important piece is the SPL & RADIO upgrade from this stock ROM. Then I went ahead to flash Dutty v3 ROM, which is OS-only flash.

I did almost the same as you but did not have the problem of device refusing to continue after splash.

I started with 1.18.723.3 (23358) ROM > USPL > 1.56.405 - UK (WWE) ROM > UPSL > Dutty v3.0. The UK stock ROM was working perfectly before I flashed Dutty.

No, you need USPL or HardSPL-1.56, as stock UK ROM has security check - only phone with UK serial number can be flashed.

I'm having the same problem. No video call possible even lots of attempt to modify the connection settings.
The final advise I got was to perform a hard reset.. sad.gif

Guys, what is the settings of GPRS under "Advanced Network" supposed to be? PAP or CHAP?
Pls advise.
Thanks.

Hi maesus,

Since HSPL 1.56 (by Olinex) is out, I'm tempted to flash to Dutty V3 (currently I'm using Davideuck V-5 HP).
I heard that Dutty V3 come with Radio 1.13 with complete Rilphone.dll, is it true? If yes, will it overwrite
my current radio ( my radio is also 1.13 but without the rilphone.dll)?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers..

if it has its own radio, yes.

as for rilphone.dll, all radions have them actually, even your current.

Some roms only work with some radios due to rilphone.dll compatibility, which is probably why he included a radio with its own dll to avoid incompatibility issue
