all these phone configuration configured in your phone?
Your top left corner should display "MY MAXIS" or "MY MAXIS 3G".

These settings will be PUSHed to your phone if you had Hard Reset your phone. This indicates that your Maxis account has been configured well and recognize your phone. I'm not sure if this can only be done during first setup after Hard Reset or there is another way to activate the first time setup wizard for your phone...

I do not check the phone very often. But i do check it sometimes. When i switch on the screen, the phone will ring indicating that there's a new SMS. The problem is that the message was an hour or more ago. If i do not switch on the screen, it will never ring, meaning that it wont alert as soon as the SMS is received? It just wont trigger the notification. But this does not happen all the time, only occasionally, say 3 out of 10 times? (rough figure) Sometimes i am notified promptly, sometimes only when i switch on the screen.

Do anybody experience this problem as well? What could have gone wrong?

Guys.. I'm still not able to solve the Video Calling issue..
I've tried using the "Connection Setup" where the settings is set automatically but still unable to video call.
When I tried video calling others, it turns out to be a normal call. When others video call me, it doesn't ring on my phone but the caller's phone sounds like normal dial tone..
any help?

have u enabled HSDPA/UMTS on ur phone yet? do u have a 3G or H icon at the top bar? sorry i can't guide u as i'm currently using WM6.5..

funny thing bout WM6.5 though, there's also a 3G+ icon, don't know what it is.. lol..

can our HD support GARMIN GPS software as my x htc cruise works well with it ! anyone using this it think Garmin rather easy to use n nice to see compared to Mapking ! any suggestions TQ

Yes, the HSDPA/UMTS is enabled and the 3G or H icon is also available.
Previously, somebody was having the same problem. Wondering if he manages to solve it?

Yes it does, Garmin Mobile XT and it's definately better than MapKing..

that's weird.. maybe u should hard reset the device.. if problem still persist, that my suggestion would be for u to send your HD for warranty.. don't flash other ROMs yet..

hi guys..... i'm new here.... just got a HTC p3600i...can i know where could i download the garmin GPS map or mapking or any GPS program recomended.... really reall newbie here.... hope all the taikor here can show me the way....thx thx,,,

HK_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL
"DisableSMSWakeUpEvent"=dword:0
Or you may use HD Tweak to enable "Wake Up on New SMS".

that is a different prob bro.. that edit is for when your HD does not wake up (lights on) when an SMS comes in..

this prob is different, u have to switch the phone on from standby, then only the msg will come in or appear.. sometimes u need to open the messaging program, tap on inbox then only it will ring and the message appear..
