my T-amp is just burning its 1st hr!

wow.....even 1st hr is soooo much better in soundstage and clarity compared to my old Onkyo....vocals are right in front of me and very lively, especially plucking of acoustic guitars, quick conclusion: my Tannoy M2s now singing like never before!!! this is ONLY its 1st hr of birth!

cant say too much as mine is ONLY ta2020 normal version n all using basic JP stuffs, heck if not then recycle parts found in store room...even the box is an aluminium cookie box only. very malu, 1st time doing DIY electronic stuffs... but very glad

of coz, without tips here especially from Jazzy, impossible for me to get it running at all hehe

The tt was good as we had an excellent host!

The 'box' for the t-amp is actually recycle from my wife's old watches empty plastic containers, have a few laying around just use it as the size is right. Here I attach some clearer pictures. I also include the small brother (ta-2024) of ta-2020 in the picture to compare, 2024 is the orange container, 2020 is the almost transparent Adidas container.
After I use DC 12V, the noise is gone, so it is confirm my old 12v ac trans is noisy. Also with the AC trans, it will clip (red light blinking) when I turn it on loud, but my DC power supply can turn all the way to max, only my ear can't take it. There is a slight noise during start-up but after that everything is good. Love the sound so far.
