sorry, I did not realized that I have not answered this. I did tryout a stack of drives,given by a friend of mine who has a friend fixing/servicing computers rejected most of them except these three: 1. IMATION CDRW drive 2. IMATION DVD-RW drive 3. SONY DVD ROM drive These three give the best output for my external DAC. You can bring along your SAMSUNG drive and we can test it out.. no problemo.. Hmmmm.....
Currently I'm using the HP drive that comes together with the HP PC. Happy with the quality. Maybe my standard is too low. |
