QUOTE(joellim @ Dec 5 2009, 02:01 AM) i wanted to test to see if my fans would spin up nicely when the temperature increases by experimenting with Speedfan software. so i loaded prime95v25 with 2 thread for my core 2 duo e8500 @ 3.8Ghz. suddenly my gf called saying she's not feeling well due to food poisoning so i left my pc immediately and went to see her, took her to hosp, and was practically with her for 4 days (friday evening to monday evening). i came back home on monday night and the prime95 was still running and max temp on both core is 55C and 54C. all fans spinning at 100% except the CM90CFM fan at 74% (cos 100% is too loud). i never tot striker extreme chipset was that stable. :-P Haha, thats y i need to sell off the 2709...Added on December 5, 2009, 2:09 am that's why i'm looking for dell 2709/2707/2708. these monitors are larger than the 24" monitors but still use the same 1920x1200 resolution which can be handled easily by the 4870X2 with 2-8XAA + 16X AF + all details max. its the sweet spot for a large screen since a 30" with 2560x1650 resolution is too high for the 4870x2. Cz need to fund for something which will handle my 30" properly... QUOTE(alexooi17 @ Dec 9 2009, 10:00 AM) Erm, many actually. But many of them doesn't seem active here anymore. Just to name a few, AceCombat, Lohwenli, Powerslide, Gsan............The list goes on and on... Btw, just do a quick search online, you'd find pretty helpful guides. QUOTE(gsan @ Dec 9 2009, 12:39 PM) Hey Gsan, how r u doing?Haven't heard from u in ages? Lol, so what r u playing now since u stopped on hardware? QUOTE(Westley @ Dec 10 2009, 05:06 PM) Hi there Westley, we need more Penangites here to revive this thread...It seems so quiet here nowadays... |

QUOTE(GKWong @ Jan 6 2010, 03:25 PM) salimbest83, u increased vcore only? maybe can try increase NB and FSB voltage and stay your ram at around the same speed. this gaybyte mobo dunt show what the default voltage..my P45 chipset need to increase the FSB voltage only can stabilize the OC. dont dare to set it.. and its damm long-long way to choose one voltage in the list.. ( bad gaybyte) my ram just 800MHz.. but if run as close as its default speed .. im just get 3.4Ghz la.. ( and dunt think it can run slower than 2.00B in ram ratio) mean 400 FSB = 800MHz ram |
