I am Penang too and I like to overclock my system as well. Just got my C2E QX9650 and managed to OC up to 4GHz without much effort. I am using just air cooling HSF.

This processor is just magnificent. Settings on the Bios as below.



FSB : 370
Multiplier : 11.0
VCore Bios : 1.35V but CPUZ showing 1.30V ( I don't know why)

I think my DDR2 RAM is limiting the overclocking capability.

anyway, im a super duper newbie in overclocking, just know that we change the setting of the system to let the hardware runs at a faster speed...

but have no idea at all to overclock

btw, which coll are you studying now? tarc?

errr ... any of u guys selling off ur 19", 20" or 22" lcd ?
my max budget is rm550 only, so with current lcd price in penang, there's no way i can grab anything bigger than 20" lcd ..
i guess i wud have to stick with 17" or 19" for now 
knew any good deal around?

thats intel's staff purchase unit,
only the staff purchase would get such price lar..
not everyone can get it and staff got limit for 3 processor per year...

My 9550 is still a virgin, unoverclocked since day 1...
I'm starting to lose patience waiting for my board to be back at Jack's place.
Called him multiple times, but everytime no good news...Scanart Data Systems (SDS) sucks...Slow RMA...It's been more than a month already since item sent to them...IMHO, it's a bit too much taking more than 1 month to repair or replace an RM1k mobo...

The temps seem pretty fine to me, hovering aroun 60+ degrees on such load on a HSF which was not even suited for it is not bad at all.
Finding new cooler? Interested in my IFX-14?

How good are those rams?
I heard kucingfight got DDR1000 5-5-5-18 at 2.0v, u think it's possible to go beyond tat, was thinking of giving them a try.

So i guess it is the cooler that let u down. Coz for that vcore at 3.94ghz, that's quite good. Mine 1.375v 3.75ghz. Either the cpu and mobo combo that gives such vcore requirement or the proc itself not very good.

I know coolice is testing windows 7 already.
But from where he got it, maybe you'll need to ask him.
