QUOTE(thteong82 @ Feb 5 2009, 09:14 AM) dont stack ur hdd, leave some space in between it.Mine one hdd then blank 2 hdd space then only another hdd.both of my AAKS only 35c like that if actively cool around 32c nia QUOTE(@meno @ Feb 5 2009, 11:16 AM) If it was cooled passively, that temp is pretty normal for an AAKS. yup,DMM and cucuk to molex is better way to get reading.Btw, the only accurate way to get PSU readings is using a multimeter. Any bios reading or software reading is always out to a certain extent. However, the more reliable softwares which could monitor this is the Lavasys Everest Ultimate. QUOTE(thteong82 @ Feb 5 2009, 12:24 PM) Need some opinion from you guys/girls. yup,it's ok but i suggest u using strong instake at front cause the HDD area blocked quite a lot of air flow.Using CM690 currently, I would like to put some fans to make inside casing more cooler. My idea. Air Intake - Front and both side. Air Outlet - Back and top. Is it ok? Between, how to cool the hardisk "actively"? QUOTE(ktek @ Feb 5 2009, 01:46 PM) moar fan != colder. choose & use fan wisely. between? btw, ur AAKS quite hot. use chopsticks mod. ask Ace meimei i use screw one la,where got chopstick? |

QUOTE(thteong82 @ Feb 5 2009, 10:46 PM) Thanks for everyone here is Penang Overclockers club. ya,what mobo u using actually?Almost all my question being answered professionally. Meno, I do think it's hard to disassemble the chipset heatsink. Afraid I would spoil the chipset, that's why I would like to leave it to more "pro" people. anyway,u can drop me a sms and if i free i can change it FOC-ly for u,just a simple job |

QUOTE(overclockalbert @ Feb 22 2009, 07:02 PM) haha! ask for my friend only. I'm using GTX260+ 216SP withs stock fan nvm you just go ahead. selling mine for my friend So HD4850 really that hot? then i might consider GTX260. anyone here have them already? how was the temp with this GC?? rgds QUOTE(iBenQ @ Feb 22 2009, 08:18 PM) it can be that hot, if u stress both graphic card, in a casing that's FULLY closed with no exhaust fan, no intake, all passive bro,i was testing by using a CM690 with an intake right beside them. i never reached more than 80c pun when gaming with cf enabled but since u going for gtx260, go for it man... performance wise, it beats 4850 |

QUOTE(iBenQ @ Mar 21 2009, 10:25 AM) seriously, 9500GT... to be exact, asus EN9500GT Magic 512MB DDR2 @@... the performance was same as my 9500gt... well, i tested in on GTA San Andreas though Well,ATi performs bad in GTA IV.Tested 4870 and GTX260 in same pc,a lot of difference in both card frame rate,i think the game "optimized" for nvidia card. And the latest driver might be kacau. |
