Any good local online shop for Gunpla? I only collect HGs (Seed,00 & HGUC) but every new models that come out, I will definitely grab em!!

I've only bought online from these3 shop, XL,etoyz and touchdiy for my gunpla needs, and most competitive price are etoyz and touchdiy. I guess no info is needed here for XL and lets go straight to etoyz and touchdiy.

ETOYZ
Indeed their lineup of Gunpla are very2 up to date. However I found their postage rate very lacking. One of my previous order, 4 boxes HG weigh up to 4.5kgs? Since according to them (based on rates given by POSMalaysia, but i doubt it, maybei ts based on some 'ulu' country post service provider) airmail would cost up to RM45,I decided to take the slow surface mail (RM20++ since Im living in Labuan FT).

And when i receive the item, guess what? Of course the boxes would be crumpled bit (sea mail +1 month and 2 weeks to arrive) but I dont care as long as the parts inside are still ok but when i take a look at the postage slip on the box..OMGWTFMFSBDFGBCDF the whole packaging box and its innards only weigh 2.++kg and the cost is only RM3.++??

Yeah I know...OMGWTFMFSBDFGBCDF again rite? And the same thing happen again and again and again and again and again..and again..again and again..repeating the cycle like our Earth faithfully spinning round and round the sun.

Please do not say I did not complaint..I did..again and again..to Mr. Nicholas Ng (the owner, who in fact already have several pages in the Star newspaper)

So he offered me a free airmail shipping for my next order no matter how much items i order. To play safe, ive ordered 4 models and ive quoted his free shipping.

So far so good huh?

Then i decided to order another model and I opted for airmail since its only 1 model (I dont suffer to much from single model 'postage rates' hence the airmail option)and I paid in full once the order was confirmed.

Guess what again...when they emailed me the tracking number, OMGWTFMFSBDFGBCDF the order was combined and was sent using seamail..Again..

OMGWTFMFSBDFGBCDF again..

One more time!!

OMGWTFMFSBDFGBCDF!!!!

TOUCHDIY
Same/cheaper by a ringgit or five price from etoyz (can i call them etoya? (Toya is a northern malaysia malay word for bullcrapping), normal airmail rates just that the Gunpla models offered are not up to date.

Thank you and please avoid etoyz and only use as last option to get Gunpla.

TRANSAM BURST!!!!

recommended shop, went there today to get some christmas presents..very nice dude (forget to get his name) and spend time to look for the gundams i wanted. really nice service, open the gundam boxes, make sure everything is in there and chit chatted with the customer a while smile.gif...(will always visit them for gunpla...seems to be the cheapest)

Online shops count right? This one helped me find my hard to find item in Japan.

http://jpstylez.com/index.php?main_page=FAQ

They helped me find the lowest price and the commission rates also okay. Dealed directly from MSN and already got my item EMS direct from Japan.
If you want to find something only can get there can try contact them.
Also got a facebook page;

http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/group.p...88202221&ref=nf

oh ya, their website is mostly makeup but they can custom find and order items for you.

Haha actually to avoid this, you can always ask for things you know not released yet from them, and pretending you're interested in that item tongue.gif

Got small complain on Dcodetoys

his website: http://www.dcodetoys.com

I deal with him few time and his service quite satisfiying.

But this time, my preordered Revoltech Melona until now haven't come. Paid deposit rm 40 to him few month before release date. I tried contact him few time giving me excuse stock haven't arrive. Wahlau.. This guy became lazy d or don't want do bussiness d or wat.

Now all my loots from straight from Japan. Easier and cheaper.

Gamers Arena @ BTS 5th floor. Bought an MG Hi-Nu there last year end.

The best price I could get within the vicinity. Yup, hunted each and every (almost. I went to check out 5 shops) shops that have gunpla there.

Very friendly staff and the boss was nice enough to open up the box to confirm all the pieces are there before charging me. Will go back there first, if I have anything else I wanna get.

went to time machine@BTS to get some toys set. shop has good layout and easy to browse. wat i like most is the auntie, bcos i always go shop with the wife. she will always go against buying more toys. but the auntie was on my side, explaining to her that its more than just toys. not really waste of money haha rclxms.gif

so 2nd attempt in getting an expensive toy worked! thx TM biggrin.gif

I tot companies are not suppose to transfer the surcharge to consumer, If they do that, i believe that's illegal and you can report them to Bank Negara.

on paper, yes retailers cannot impose surcharge but reality wise, you can just go to any PC/hp/gaming shop in lowyat and all of them doing the same thing. they aren't stupid and they won't put it on the receipt saying 2.5% surcharge so in the end, as a consumer we have nothing against them if you report it to BNM.
