I am using cimbitrade at minimum Rm12 and 0.3% for t+2 and 0.01 for intraday. I hv asked for lower rates. Was told to join Tradebeyond at Rm8 or 0.1%.
Besides this Brokerage rate, what are the key difference?

Trading Limit is lower. Can't remember what ratio against your deposit. You can double confirm with your rep officer

Trading limit is 1x only:

2.6 The trading limit for the TradeBeyond Facility is based on the multiplier of collateral as follows:
i. 1 x Cash [MYR & foreign currencies (subject to haircut)]; and/or
ii. Up to 1 x Shares (Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad & foreign stock exchanges, subject to price capping).

No way.... I did it last year. Only took few days for CIMB Rep Officer do it. All shares remained the same just system fee structure changed.

You can ask your dealer to reduce the trading limit.
