u can't. u need to use another bank's platform.if u use maybank, u can't buy maybank shares with that. it's a rule for all banks doing bursa.

QUOTE(wankongyew @ Mar 6 2013, 09:44 AM) ![]() So I recently received some dividends but the bank charges seem ridiculously high. Normally it is a flat RM3.00. What's up with this? Can I do anything about this? for itrade account tied to cimb bank account, there is no dividend charge. what is paid by counter is what u get, 100%. |

QUOTE(wankongyew @ Mar 6 2013, 10:47 AM) It's tied to my CIMB bank account, but it's nominee CDS instead of direct CDS, that's why there is a dividend processing charge. But normally it's only RM3 flat per dividend payment. I'm okay with that because it's a bit more convenient for a few things (for example when there are rights issues they will get instructions from me and fill out the forms for me etc.) unless there is a good explanation for the change, think best to change to direct cds.But I don't understand why it says CASH DIVIDEND here this time and why the processing fee is more than 10% of the dividend received. 10% of div is way too much. already kena tax 10% by gomen, then tax 10% by bank again? no way! |

QUOTE(Vinct @ Mar 19 2013, 02:34 PM) As per plan, CIMB currently in the midst to upgrade the trading platform. Currently is their 1st stage, where after sign on to iTrade, the client will still be routed to current old platform. Just click on "New Trading Hall", system will bring you to the new trading platform where no Java is required. You may have a try! tq for info. will try tmrw. hope it works.that java problem has been giving me headaches, will be glad to see the platform un-java-ed! |

QUOTE(StupidGuyPlayComp @ Apr 9 2013, 08:42 AM) Itrade unstable these 2 days, keep dc. yalor... the "new trading hal"l sometimes is not there! still crap after so long...why disable the "new version", and roll back to "old version"? good news is the old trading hall is still functioning ok, no problem as long as u use the right java version and not do allow java update. |

QUOTE(CPURanger @ May 17 2013, 04:13 PM) Could not use the old trading hall, pretty useless and no more proxy link. I resort to use tablet version on my desktop pc. i have tried that, but had not used it to do any transaction so far. the display looks "cheap", no confidence!Try this URL for PC/Mac, https://lite.itradecimb.com.my/tablet/ Remember to select new trading hall. it Works fine now. so, you have done transactions with this one, works good on the pc? |

QUOTE(wankongyew @ May 23 2013, 10:59 AM) Anyone know how I can edit a watchlist under the new system? I can create a new one, delete an old one or rename and old one. But how can I add or remove stocks from a watchlist? Under the old system I could just right click on a stock to add or remove but this doesn't seem possible now. can, first highlight the counter. then point cursor at "my watchlist", click, see 2nd from bottom, "add to watchlist".This post has been edited by AVFAN: May 23 2013, 02:25 PM |

QUOTE(kayzie @ May 31 2013, 11:29 AM) Quick question guys: not using maybank but shud be same as using cimb account, i.e. at clicks edeposit, a window will pop out asking you to log into yr maybank account to make the transfer assuming it is already linked. After I clicked edeposit and select maybank2u as my option for online cash deposit, enter amount and submitted... Where is the part in maybank2u in order for me to confirm the transaction, i can't find it anywhere in maybank2u. Thanks! This post has been edited by AVFAN: May 31 2013, 11:43 AM |

QUOTE(kayzie @ May 31 2013, 11:46 AM) Thanks for the prompt reply. It's odd, i noticed maybank2u's pop-up window, but it says my session is expired with maybank2u, after i login... i'm at the usual maybank2u home screen, nothing tells me where to confirm my transaction. yep, cud be.May be it's IE problem? take note sometimes it takes a few seconds for every command to go thru, so be patient, give it a little time. if you still can't get it, best to call clicks helpdesk and do it with help. |

QUOTE(kayzie @ Jun 3 2013, 10:34 AM) But I have another question. I transfered X amount of deposit into my account, but in itrade window, a Y amount which is almost 3 times the amount of X reflected in my acct, is that normal? sounds strange... which window in itrade? possible the amount is rm100+ some previous balance?e.g. RM100 (my deposit) > RM300 (shown in itrade). Why so? everytime i transfer with edeposit, the money isn't shown immediately in itrade under "client summary" alto it has been deducted in the bank a/c. the precise amt gets to itrade there only the next day which is normal, same like any interbank giro. |

QUOTE(kayzie @ Jun 3 2013, 10:53 AM) Ah yes client summary is accurate, but when I clicked on portfolio. i dun see any cash or balance in portfolio...?The Bal. shows a bigger amount. Bal next to net cash limit. likely the amt is the max trading amt allowed, which for most brokers is 2.5-3x of what you have. |

QUOTE(kayzie @ Jun 3 2013, 11:16 AM) Sounds logical, btw I'm using new trading hall... yes, you get t+3 days, so you can buy up to the 3x amt.Ok what does max trading amt allowed means? I mean don't you need to have deposit inside your acct in order to trade? Does it mean itrade temporary lets you buy that share b4 your deposit transferred into itrade? by t+3, you can sell or put in enough money to pick up. if you fail to act on time, they will use the actual amt availabe to pay whatever is possible, the rest they will force sell for you. best to keep track closely to avoid surprises like itrade down, not enough time to deposit, etc... think u r new to all these, best to talk to some broker or helpdesk at itrade. all the best! |
