Trust account is like a chest with the investment bank. Money needs to be deposited to the trust account in order to trade. It will be then converted to equivalent "credit".

direct trading account = normally use by remisier, trading limit given by remisier.
securitised trading acc (direct or nominee) = securitised mean is collateral based, trading limit based on 3 times of your cash deposit, 2 times of your shares.
direct = the acc is direct to you
nominee=the broker house is the nominee on behalf of you, but you are still the account owner, just that everything will go through the broker house
*
about the direct trading account, is it means the limit depends on how much deposit i have in my account? actually what is means by "use by remisier"? not use by the account owner?
normally which account is recommended to open?...thanks

Securitised acc will be based on the money in your trust account.

Mean that acc is non-collateral based, normally dis type of acc open under remisier, trading limit can be given without putting in any cash.

Normally client will open securitised trading acc - direct.

I think this is the Click Trader account.. I went to CIMB branch yesterday wanted to ask them about ItradeCIMB and they kept telling me about this Click Trader account. It seems like they know nothing about the ITradeCIMB.

Oh ya, and the officer told me currently the click trader account, u don't need to maintain 10K in ur account, u can use that 10K to trade as well..

Annual fee for ATM cards is determined according to type of saving account that you're holding.

No annual fee but with limited withdrawals per month is available under Basic Saving Account.

Hi guys, another newbie here with some questions..

1. For cross border trade, does itrade have real time quotes for the foreign stock exchanges?

2. How about the brokerage/clearing/stamp duty fees for cross border trade? Is is same as trading in klse ie RM 28 or 0.42%whichever higher?.....

3. Any additional charges for cross border trade?

4. I have just submitted form to open itrade account. Once the account is activated, what do I need to do if I want to trade in foreign exchange? I heard there's some separate registration for that, true?

Any taiko here have experience in using itrade cross border can share experience?

Thank you so so so much for your time!! notworthy.gif

Early morning there was a minor system glitches. I tried to cancel my order but the system did not update itself. I have tried several requests but failed. Called the CS and they said that they were facing some technical problem.

To know the type of saving account that you're holding, you can always ask the bank staff or CIMBClicks CS.

Only basic saving account has that feature. BNM specifies that every finanicial institution must provide basic account with minimal fees.
