Hmm, ask yourself when you purchase a PC does it come with a Mac OS X for you (to hack)? Hmm.....
There will be no Windows included with your mac purchase. You have to buy one yourself if you would like to use Windows on the mac.

according to LYN forumers, CC takes less than 1 hour to process
unless u opt for Bank transfer which takes 1- 2 weeks to process

Remote control, depends on the usage of the user
as such, if u ar those Keynoters.. then a remote will help u most
or entertainment wise, to control ur entertainment stuff from distance

the remote control cost u Rm69 if not mistaken..

agreed. however for presentations, if u have an ipodtouch or iphone, the Keynote app (99cents) is better since u can view ur notes and next slide (pretty useful for me).

as for entertainment, try to decide if you like to use frontrow (or perhaps plex) or not for watching videos/movies. if just for music, the Remote app (free, also if u have an iphone / ipodtouch) would be better.

if you really like the idea of controlling a tv-connected mac from a couch, maybe u should consider a wireless mini keyboard/touchpad combination like the one from logitech (forgot the model...i remember got one forumer here paired it with a mac mini)

Haha, wait. What's with this lucky or unlucky lar? It's a formal procedure anyway. I rather they double check to avoid credit card fraud.

@chuakz,
It seems as if you're new to the Mac OS X. Please check out the respective threads (do a search) or go to Apple website and click on Introduction or something like that; in it, there's a QuickTime video that tells U what to expect from OS X

Also, U asked earlier about 'necessary programs'; what do U mean by necessary programs? What's necessary to me is not necessarily right for u. Also, like a Windows machine, the OSX does NOT come with Words, etc.

U can however download OpenOffice (FOC) to use as a substitute to Microsoft Office.

@terencetoo,
I believe the store will only send it out when your CC approves it. Y should they want to take the risk in sending a non-paid product to U? tongue.gif

@Voonz,
Sometimes the banks call, sometimes they don't. I used to receive calls in my early days of using a CC but of late, no more calls. I once swiped RM30k for a hotel bill and was expecting the banks to call but they didn't.

@plokoon,
Yes.. sometimes it's good to take necessary precautions biggrin.gif

lucky to me =D it's a hassle photocopying my id and mailing it to them. Confirmation by phone is ok though.
