Sometimes they do ask for further verification of your CC by asking you to provide them with a copy of your CC statement in JPEG regardless of you buying under RRP or under education savings. I have been told that the Apple staff from SG will contact you about it on the day you make your purchase online.

they contacted me for my cc statement b4 processing the order....

I purchased mine at 8.00 P.M. just now, but until 9.00 P.M. my bank did not contact me. So, I called them up to check.

To my surprise, the purchase has not been captured yet although I have got the confirmation number from Apple Store. Am still wondering. Will call up Apple Store Malaysia 1st thing in the morning.

Don't worry, they will call you for confirmation tomorrow if this is your first purchase from the online store. Currently it is not working hour that's why they did not call you. The confirmation number is an automatic confirmation from the Apple Store. Manual processing from the staffs will be operated tomorrow morning. Don't worry and you will be getting your purchased good most probably next monday.

Hmm... the "location" is www.apple.com/my

normally its 2 days only without engraving. with engraving its a week coz its engraved in china.

I ordered my @ Apple Store Malaysia with engraving back in May 2009, reached me probably 6 or 7 days after ordered took placed.

12th - Order online
15th - Parcel arrived in Malaysia (from ShuZhou, China)
16th or 17th - Received by goods

I purchase MacBook Pro from apple online store few day ago and now receive shipment email from apple and the email state that my MacBook Pro will arrive at 3/7/2009 and they using DHL Express but at that day i will not at home until 5 plus there no DHL Express or DHL Express reseller at the place that i living, so what will happen if i didnt receive it? anyone has experience or can help?

Is it possible for U to contact the Apple Online Store and let them know U won't be able to be home to receive the parcel and if U can reschedule the delivery time?

The other option is when DHL comes and no one is at home, they will leave you a note to make delivery arrangements with them separately.

call DHL.
Give them the airwaybill number.
Ask to reschedule the delivery.
It's a small matter.
Ive never done rescheduling, but i always reroute my packages.
