Guys, I bought AVerMedia ExtremeCap U3 CV710 from eBay (about 600myr), using Economy SpeedPAK. Will I get charged extra 6% when arrive? Will there be additional costs that I shall expect?

same here.. my item arrives first week of june... but my question is, will i be taxed if my item is below the value of rm500 (item + shipping)? i checked the hs code for my item, it says 20%. the last time i bought the item, it came directly to me bcoz the item+shipping is below rm500. with no more gst, will there be sst? even if its below rm500? ... anyone care to advise?

my seller put the parcel's value to 36 USD instead of real price 149, it's duty free.

As long as your item + shipping is below RM500, there shouldn't be any tax

Use 'item description' In the search criteria drop down menu on the left. then search your item in the keyword search. Should be an import rate there for your item.

If your items+shipping dont exceed RM500 no need to worry abt the import tariff.

Hi all, since it is the tax holiday now. How much is customs gonna charge me for the following items?

I bought a down jacket and duffel bag from the States via comGateway.

Jacket is RM560 and bag is RM1300. Still waiting for packages to arrive at the US warehouse but estimated shipping cost is around RM200, possibly less.

I've looked up the tariff codes for both, apparently women's jackets have no stated imposed tax amount while backpacks are around 20%?

Wondering if I can ask comGateway to separate the shipments, declare the bag as under RM500(Or can it only be done by seller? If so quite impossible as it's a big corporation), so I only have to pay for the 20% of the bag.

Hi, I have ordered a wallet from Bellroy Australia. Total cost is less than RM300 inclusive of shipping. FEDEX called up and informed me that there will be RM 130 of duty charges. When I check the customs and acknowledgement form, I was shocked that the freight charges were RM300+ for such a small and light parcel. Is this normal?
