Sorry, I'm mistaken it with Baby Carriages. It's still 30% Import duties + 6% GST under Tafriff Code 9401.20.1000

So I've been collecting anime and game figurines for the past few years, a lot of which were imported fro Japan. Last time the tax was 5% for item value under RM1000, then the GST was implemented in 2015 onward so it's 6%. Then they ask me to get permissions from KPDNKK for every item held by custom which is a pain but complied. Then this morning they told me the I need to pay RM100 agent fee for every different sender instead of the usual RM100 fee + tax, meaning that I had to pay RM300 since the items came from three different vendors. Is this standard practice or did I get fleeced by the agent?

6% GST is normal tax for toys/figurine.
KPDNKK permit is must now as sex toys/porn stuff is prohibited to import. So they have to filter this.
RM100 fee is on your shipping agent. Maybe other agent is lower. You have to find another agent if want cheaper rate.

friends, need yr advise. i used aramex delivery service when i bought bunch of items from Singapore... nothing illegal, just some kitchen stuff cookware, kids water bottle, bathroom mats, and a 18v drill/driver.... so when it arrived in malaysia.. not sure by air or land.. the document from them says via truck but somehow my stuff they emailed and said its in process to be declared to customs in KLIA and i have to pay GST ... so i figured its fine... coz 6% of my invoice+shipping wont be that much.. maybe rm 1XX... but shocking when i received email from them saying that i have to pay rm 490... so its 6% gst plus all my items individually kena duty... so i told them to FuuK off and tell me how i need to clear my items from customs.. at first they said i cannot do that, but then they replied saying i need K1 form then bring all related documents like invoice, aramex shipping info, etc...

NOW.... what do i do? any advise? i was thinking to go KLIA customs and see outside there if got any guy with connection with inside agent to bring out my items... i dont mind paying anyone except aramex..

any advise is appreciated.. thank you..

Guys, I need your advice. I just bought 11 rolls of wallpapers for USD172.48 (free shipping by Aramex) from Ali Express, is that taxable by custom dept? If so, how much is the import duty plus gst?

First time buying from oversea here.

you can do a search here of your item wallpaper.. (http://tariff.customs.gov.my/) it seems it did not state if there is duty .. but it should be ok.. if the total cost for your wallpapers is above 500rm , then you need to pay 6% gst based on your invoice value .. sometimes they might do 6% of (invoice value + your shipping cost) ...also pray hard that your stuff is not inspected and just lepas.. smile.gif

Would like your advise, if purchase monitor from singapore

1. Drive back will it be tax? What would that be (GST only or more?)

2. Through shipping company
a. Declare as gift - How much will it be tax?
b. Declare as normal item - how much will it be tax?

3. Any recommended shipping services?
