You are the last person I expect to encounter such problem after being so conscientious in reminding all us to be cautious when flashing our ROM. Samsung should reflash your Omnia for free. I know of someone bricking a LG KS20 when flashing a cooked ROM and yet LG service center repaired it for free. After all, why should we pay a higher price for an Malaysian set when we could easily buy an AP set from Spore for 30% less, unless we can get FULL service from the local distributor? We must insist they repair it for free even though we are flashing cooked ROM.

Q 1. Go to your settings and, under the system tab and turn off finger mouse.

Q 2. Try updating your firmware, has worked for some people. Or else, just reset your phone, the camera will work again.

Q 3. Its also under settings. Go figure.

yeah.....thats about right, but it will also depend on the class and transfer speeds. Dont just look at the price. even Class  6 SDHC can have different speeds and thus the price. remember that the classes only refer to the minimum transfer speed. Higher speeds would mean quicker loading of large files, particularly movies into your card.
*
currently, class 6 only available up 8gb if not mistaken... in Sandisk they called it MicroSDHC Ultra series.

I am using N73 now, been upgrading new ROM or f/w since I bought it, never experience bricking the phone.

Maybe must admit Symbian is more stable that WM sad.gif

Not sure to get the Omnia, no offence to all.

If it was RM1.5k and below, will buy it but to pay RM2k++ that may or may not work - must think twice, I not kaya lar

Unfortunately, Microsoft has confirmed that current Windows Mobile devices won’t be blessed with the Windows Mobile 6.5 update. It seems Microsoft is looking to market their new touch-optimized Windows Mobile on new hardware, giving loyal Windows Mobile fans a swift kick in the pants at the same time.

Yup. That is true. If you keep on waiting for the latest one, it'll be a never ending waiting. biggrin.gif That's why it's best to grab it when it comes out.

Really? I've been looking for this info..man this is suck.. mad.gif mad.gif

I guess maybe don't wait for winmo 6.5 afterall since 7 will come out maybe by end of this year..duh..really love to have those new OS.. cry.gif

But then, i'll wait for the latest iphone that supposed to come out by this summer.. if video call included, i'll grab it..I'll keep omnia anyway..one of my precious phone..

I have look at the latest widget of omnia from a magazine..it seems to be similar like the pixon one..and nothing much to joy except we can customise it.

the new icon does not look essential to me at least..but acuweather will be included

1) yes you can simply flash to custom ROM without installing official ROM first..
2) most of custom ROM is in updater file(exe) which mean u don't need to use grandprix..
flash it like normal process..

If u are quite confuse which ROM u wanna use (since so many chef there),
I quote from QBUS words (one of the Omnia chef smile.gif )
QUOTE
- If you want to have all the original applications - please use Taril's ROM.
- If you want to have completly clean ROM - please use Lufeig's one.
- If you want to have balance between clean and all-inclusive, if you want to have applications chosen by you (including 3rd party apps), don't want to have a mess in your phone, if you are familiar with Windows Mobile (you know what you want achieve) then my ROMs are for you
