Hi,

I just bought myself an Omnia on 31st Dec 2008. thumbup.gif
So far I guess the phone is pretty great. Just that the battery life kinda sucks. First time on WM blush.gif
Does anyone know how much is the battery?
And if I use leaked ROMs, would it invalidate my warranty?

Anyway, feel free to add me to the list.

Cyphereza - Omnia 8GB (black) - FMG - Screen Protector/Car charger - RM2.5k (Lowyat Plaza 1st Level) - ROM: DZHK3 (updated myself)

So, you're saying that L2 has the best battery life?

For WIFI - g is disabled.
Get SKtools and go to network and enable g - faster and more stable

Wouldn't that drain the battery even faster? Sorry, I'm a lil skeptical bout battery life laugh.gif

Is there any other way to enable the Wifi-G besides using SKTools?

Umm, the way I did it was, I left the Windows Mobile Device Center window open. Connect to phone by USB. And run the updater.

sure will hv ori ones at fmg shops...but cost a fortune lo...

Hmmm, so there are battery and battery charger available at FMG shops?

Coz I surfed samsungmobile.com and couldn't find OMNIA accessories.
In Singapore the (standalone not the wall travelling charger that came with the phone) charger and battery costs around RM238 for both (claimed original but I'm a lil suspicious since there is nothing on the website). Worth it?

Thanks a bunch to the people who helped me! thumbup.gif

of course there are orriginal accessories available. just went to Samsung Service Plaza(beside Federal Highway) this afternoon. they have travel charger & batter for OMNIA but not selling In-Car Charger. they said in-car can get @ any Samsung Ori(FMG) Stores.

Battery = RM188, forgot to ask for travel charger.

Gotten myself extra original Samsung battery and original Samsung battery charger for RM238 in Singapore. thumbup.gif

For GPS:

GPS Hardware port: COM9
Baud Rate: 4800
Access -> Manage GPS automatically [ticked]

tu la... aku test dulu, nnt kalau battery life okay. I'll let u guys know.
on DZHK3, with my usage (regular data connection, some calls, a lot of smsing), battery lasts for approx. 24 hours. I had to buy a spare battery. sweat.gif
