hi there i would like to know how can i set my onmia to not automatically connect me to the internet through maxis. because i realize that my omnia will automatically connect through maxis when there is no wifi available or disconnected.

i am touched - hope i can a thing or 2 from the sifu here

as for pixon, yes, love the 8MP. but it lacks customization and battery life sucks

hmm - will wait at the end of this month Feb to see to get Omnia. I am just concern over the hardware as I know the ppl at service center got those tidak apa attitude even if my phone has 12 mths warraty

one question - i tested the loudspeaker at a shop. not so loud ler, worry will miss lots of call. i know there is a way to tweak the loudspeaker - but now now

maybe if i d/load my own MP3, it will be louder.

i actually own nokia 5800 but sold it after 2 weeks usage - no drag and drop style and camera was very bad as it's like 1.3 MP BUT the music was great! after 2 weeks - got a bit bored

one thing with IS,if u r using omnia with the silver chrome side,the IS will turn black,instead of transparent clear.
same goes to your screen protector.eventually,they will all turn black..
one good thing u buy from lyn seller is that u can claim rma easily...i bought mine at rm7+ only as i bought 3 for 3 phones in a shot

how long does a touch screen last? 2 yrs? 5 yrs?

my dad is still using Nokia 8850 (?not sure) - the butterfly version with the first blue back light and it's still running.

not sure omnia can last that long -

im still on my HK1/M2D04.... i wanna go for that throttle rom u've flashed but i guess i should flash my rom to DZXI2 first aites..? and the DZXI2 rom needs to use Grandprix am i right? scared to do it ..hehe.. the thoughts i might brick the phone is so scary aaa...

what omnia version i use eh? usually got chrome at side but mine fully black..

fyi,SG set got 3 models:
black back cover with silver chrome,black bac cover with black chrome n white with silver chrome.
so for those who has silver chrome,it will turn black.
however,according to seller,after u remove the IS,it will still be in silver,so no worries..

no nid to go setting to silent ur phone.
press your volume up/down on the right side of ur omnia,then the volume bar will come out,then select silent.this can be done even if your omnia is in locked mode.fastest way that i know so far!

navfone interface is a bit lame,not nice.
navfone good in city..but ulu area..dun xpect much.
GMXT however is better.way better.
GMXT try go for malsing map,malfree map is not that detailed yet.

IS = Invisible Shield.it's basically a coat of protector for the whole device including front, back, side as well as camera lens,(only excludes the pop-up button at side).

why it turns black,i'm not sure.oxidation i suppose.

Omnia set from M'sia is all with silver chrome.

after removing the IS,the chrome under will still be in original form,sparkling silver.no worries.

a bit "mah fun" to place this IS as if got problem, technician need to remove IS before opening the set, right?

heard IS very hard to put and expensive.

Maybe a silicone cover to cover omnia - is there such thing as that? if yes, where to get? will chrome will still turn black as it's still expose to air?

u spent rm2k+ n u want it look like <1k?
if u duwan IS n duwan leather case,go for leather pouch..classic n elegant.
wont scratch if u r kful.the most vulnerable part is the chrome part.other than tat,easy to manage.

i thot the IS is cover the entire phone (of course not the battery) OR IS for the top casing and another IS for the bottom casing?

anyway, will just get a silicone and screen protector.

For Invisible Shield,
all together got 9pcs:
1 top,1 bottom,1on each side(left n right),1 as screen protector,1 on back cover, 1 on camera lens area, 2 on answer n reject call button.

parts not covered:
the chrome hook where u hang ur stylus,the mouse pad,ur charging port,n the 4 buttons on the right hand side of your omnia(volume controls,camera shutter and the self programmable key).

the reason y i dont want use silicone @ pouch @ case is its bulky..so hard to keep in pocket..
im not dat hang phones over my waist type haha..looks like old ppl la..my dad also not hang phones on his waist..

Anyone know how to make first letter when we type sms become capital letter? i mean automatically capital letter..
after dot or question mark it will be capital letter for the first word..

if u choose to reply a sms, it will b auto, but if create new sms.. it wont.. looking for solution for this too..

i bought IS but i also bought krusel leather case, double layer of protection. buy so expensive must protect kaw kaw..

from what i know if u use IS or any cover (especially silicone case u will accumulate dirt someway or the other.. especially those ppl that put in pocket plus sweat a lot.

i experienced this with my o2 mini. used a silicone cover... got dirt all over. plus u need to buy really expensive one 100++ to have the non sticky feeling. which is hard to find and hard to differentiate if u cannot touch it.

also if used normal screen protector will not last that long. martin field last longer though . if u use ur stylus a lot like me... mf will last around 1 year. other sp with me last for under 2 months.

also info from ppl that have put it on. cause of IS turning black is because dirt got under and this is because when put IS on the thing didnt stick that much so need to be careful when put on. they tell me. will see how it goes this weekend with my IS. huhu....
