i see..i use omnia thead software..then choose no threading for sms cuz i dont like dat way..so hard to read sms..
then if press reply it will create new sms..so no capital letter for me

i got some question regarding rom upgrade.
currently my rom is i900DXHJ1 and i planing to upgrade to DXIA1 from lucifer web.
1. is that rom for malaysia set?
2. that is leak rom. so i see lucifer stated need to install samsung modem first before upgrade do i require that?
3. once upgrade the rom, i install program will be deleted..how bout the program i install in "my storage"
4. is there anyway to prevent it previious install program lost after upgrading rom?

So guys, which ROM are you guys on now?
I'm thinking of flashing my phone to custom ROM but then lazy to reinstall everything back... and not sure which ROM is good. Any recommendations?

i m still using the stock ROM with spb shell so not sure bout custom rom...
so not sure about this...mayb can ask other sifu which custom ROM they recommend..

btw guys last 2 weeks ago i accidentally drop my omnia on the floor..
haiz...as a result got a few deep scratch on the body already now...
after that check the phone condition carefully to c whether i spoil anything or not and no problem..
but now after 1 week++ i found out that my omnia's LCD got a single spot that is much brighter than the other..
like some inconsistencies in its lighting...so wanna ask is this normal or should i sent it for checkup ?
hope some sifu can help me here...

i just use my omnia for almost 2 months plus. i had a problem today which my omnia totally turn off. after i charge i wanna turn on..its able but..the touchscreen doesnt work.it did not take any input when i touch it. but after few times..its appear saying that too many failed attempt and asked me to enter number "a1b2c3"..the keyboard appear but stilll i cannot touch it...i have reset the phone few times..(press reset button next to power button)..power button not function when i press it. when i try to connect to computer..my omniey vibrate nonstop.. ..some one please help me.

hope the problem isnt too serious n can claim warranty n they didnt found out i drop the phone b4..
now i hav turn my lcd brightness to minimum..jz in case..touch wood..hehe..

i m using the capdase flip-top leather pouch that i bought from dadarouch now...

wow..ur problem so serious la..do u try hard reset? dat 1 u tried is soft reset..
or better u send it to service center la..

take out ur battery,wait for a few seconds,put it back.
dun turn on yet,charge till full.
after finish charging,then only u turn it on.
if still can't,soft reset.
if still can't,no choice but hard reset

emm.. yesterday i went to low yatt plaza.. just to survey for omnia price.. at one shop the seller offer me omnia for $2450 for 16G... so, mahal x?

i want to be omnians just if omnia price below 2k..hehe

q1. does the m'sian set has 3 Samsung Home screen to choose from?

q2. if i decide to use SPB shell, i copy the cab file in any folder? (maybe storage) and double click. after install, i choose the spb shell as home screen just as i choose samsung home screen 1-3? betul ka the step?

try look at SG set..i think now u can get below 2k..but warranty only applicable in SG..
i guess many Omnian here bought Omnia from SG set and so far no problem rite?

Added on February 12, 2009, 9:22 amq1.Our set has 3 today screen, Samsung Widget, Samsung Today 1 & 2.
It should be standard like other country set..the only different is packaging accessories..

q2. yup, copy the cab installer into any folder..run & install..that's it..no need to choose spb shell as today screen because it will run automatically..
in today screen, the right softkey will be change to SPB Menu..
so, u still can use Samsung Today screen together with SPB Mobile Shell..

i think can get RM1800 for SG set. would get the all black so that no chrome issue

warranty problem lar, pay another maybe RM400 to get FMG set

wait for price drop then another cool device pops up - it never ends and it's a dilemma

juz like mine..all black omnia haha..so hard to get scratch at all..
SG set is ok what..my shop dat i bought omnia said he can claim warranty for me if got anythin problem during warranty period..
