im new omnia user..
jz get my omnia few day ago..

im having a problerm to scyn my omnia contact wif my outlook wif the ActiveSyn...any 1 due t this problerm ever?
any1 could plz help me..

I tried to install GArmin MXT. I installed Garmin For Windows Mobile..When installing, it tried to search Attach bluetooth and Attach SCanning..but not succesful..so i just skip it. THen when i try to open, it says unable to locate GPS device;please verify that device is powered on and within range.

Wat am i going to do with tat?urgh

When i treid to install from pc thru activesync, i double click n it comes out with application. It has ntg for me to click 'Run'/Setup. y?

I think I hav Installed succesfully...hav to try outside the house to see weather it works o not!

dear all, gona send my omnia for service coz during conversation, will have those buzing sound...
wuts da best service center? summit (fmg)? da 1 in federal(samsung) is it ok? is it even send to summit, eventually they'll send bck to samsung, so better go samsang direct n faster...

right?

btw, i already install manila 2d (not cook rom)...need 2 uninstall before sending for service r?

i think better for u to change back to official rom. if not might void warranty

its because u're still using the trial version without register..... (*ahem* *ahem* mode will do the job)
u need to enter the serial or *ahem* *ahem* it in order to work

Hi there. Have installed Garmin but it also keeps on hanging. can open but after few seconds will hang. ..

can someone confirm whether both garmin and mapking can sit side by side harmoniously in omnia? bcos i haven't uninstall mapking..and not willing to bcos it works great with mapking..could this be the problem? two nav apps in a device. I heard someone does have both in omnia and got no prob..or is it the port splitter?

another apps that i installed is microsoft voice command..could this be the culprit? because i dont see anyone using this apps

I can confirm that there is no problem with Omnia installed with Garmin and Mapking together.

What is your device Storage capacity? It should be at least 10MB to prevent hanging.

With Garmin installed i still have 25MB left..which supposed to be sufficient..previously i installed the 4.20.20 also hang..

I'm on H3 and maybe later go for K3..FW got anything to do with this?

I don't think firmware is the cause. Did you use Task Manager to exit all Programs rather than just close?

I can assure you that's my routine every time after running any application..now i suspect something amiss during the installation..but i have followed every step as in the link given by kyleng

I followed the installation instructions for Garmin provided by damagedigital as in Post#1. Goto his Maps collection for the hasslefree map.

garmin + mapking should be no problem leh...
i think the problem is with ur garmin installatiion process...
u must have missed out sumthg thr..
