Just bought a T2200HD yesterday.
Don't mind the pic below in the spoiler, taken on crappy camera. I attached an actual screen capture of my desktop.

You can see it's quite good for RM560 (22" 1920x1080 native resolution, manufactured Sept '08).

Too bad for me, I have the unfortunate event of comparing it side-by-side with my friend's S-IPS monitor. Now I am wondering should I sell it and get a S-IPS panel.

what is S-IPS?? i really donno about it.. icon_question.gif

Kindly use the search engine next time smile.gif

* S-IPS/H-IPS panels are generally considered the best all around panel type, but they are more expensive and very few are made. High end, expensive.

* S-PVA/MVA panels offer better color reproduction and viewing angles than TN panels, have slightly worse response times than TN or S-IPS, offer the best contrast ratios, may suffer from color shifting or input lag and have higher availability than S-IPS panels. Mid range, fair price.

* TN panels are very cheap and have the fastest response times, but suffer from inferior color reproduction, contrast ratios and viewing angles. Low end, inexpensive.

Yes, 9800GTX+ is slightly better than hd 4850 512mb in terms of performance, but both of the card performance are almost identical...

Yet the hd 4850 512mb price is cheaper by RM 100+ than the 9800gtx+...

For me i'll go for hd 4850 1GB GS for better performance in large resolution LCD screen, since u r going to purchase new 22" LCD monitor, i recommended you to buy hd 4850 1gb GS edition  thumbup.gif
*
the GTX+ is rm679.. while the 4850 512mb is about rm600..
not sure about the 1gb one.. how much is it..?

LOL "Dynamic contrast ratio" is just for the marketing purposes, its not the true contrast ratio...

better u check the monitor static contrast ratio (true contrast ratio)

T240 is more expensive than the 2433BW becoz T240 has HDMI input while 2433BW doesn't have 1, but both monitor spec are quite identical...

T240 also has DC 20000:1 & 1000:1 ... same as 2433BW

but if u want to buy a monitor, u should see the monitor display with ur own eyes, dun trust 100% on the monitor spec smile.gif
