Very good piece of advice.
However, for me that have to be out in the field , practically quite hard to find the "right timing " to recharge the battery.
While waiting for battery to be almost drained out ( ready for recharge ) , we could be out in the field and could be long days too.
So charging the battery back to 100% ( from 50% ) while back to office/home , and get ready for the next day could be the solution, though not the ideal way.
Now my 1000H suffers a 4.5% wear after about 10 months of use.
I wonder how you can find the perfect timing to charge, unless you have several netbooks to use alternately. Or buying a spare battery might help ?
Mind to share more with your expertise ?

Haha for me (you have to forget the fact that i have multiple netbooks, having multiple netbooks does not also mean i bring all of them along with me, thatll kinda beat the purpose somewhat doesnt it haha) I have a spare battery i carry, third party nonetheless but has served me well for that purpose. I also used to travel long distance while on the road, driving or being driven. I have a AC Adapter in my car for that purpose, it converts the cars 12V to the Power needed to recharge the laptops battery using the power adapter. That way, I can have the battery and the laptop ready for action once i reach my destination, using 3rd party china made batteries also made me dont mind doing the start stop charging like one always does for their machines. Only being China made ie not so original, they also I find to be a little hardier so thats a plus point. Noting that though, i also always observe when they are being charged, being from China, quality sometimes is a little suspect and you dont want the fella to blow up while charging now do you
