LOL, set SW to 0 and you can as well chuck away the subwoofer... I used to set the SW to 6, bass around 2-3 and treble 3-4.

hmm....i can see a lot of differences when i use my amp on my ipod and my onboard sound cad..so what you guys think i should get to fully utilize the performance of this speaker？budget around 200??i can't seem to find asus U1 now..

try this. of course you can adjust all the settings for bass / mids / high but I only gave example for subwoofer since it's the easiest.

what about 2.0 speakers?

as far as I can remember setting SW to 0 is not the lowest point lol
still got bass coming out from the sub

my setting was sw 0 bass 2 and treble 4 others pass to equalizer

yeap.putting sw to 0 still will have bass coming out of the woofer..sometime certain movie i have to change it to sw 0..too loud my mom complains.lol.i think i was watching topgun.

Yup, there'll b some bass, but the bass from the satts will totally cover the bass from SW, that's the reason why some ppl will feel that the SW bass is not "strong" bcoz they set the SW to 0, therefore they only feel the bass from the satts.

sw 0 suitable for my room to listening song if +sw wil make the bass too boomy in my room if watching some action movie i wil increase the sw to 5 or 6 for the shaking effect

Em, how do you know? I tot you're using MX5021? It depends on individual, SW and satts bass are diff type of bass, SW bass is tight and whereas satt one is boomy, I don't think tight bass( mid bass) will make someone headache/dizzy xD It's the satt bass (Low bass) that kills a person. Anyway, I'm not using any SC/programme/equalizer when I placed the SW at 6, so it's jus fine to me
