hey, after I ordered the s330d, they said I can wait 4 two days until the speaker arrive.
after some while asking for advice, I decide to buy c3 either.
they hv sent me one and will arrive tomorrow
expecting the best as I can't audition them.

The price of Edifier S730 is always RM999 one, but I heard if you bought during PCfair they will give you 2 years warranty instead of normal 1 year warranty.

hello. i'm also new comers to edefier world. last time used sonic gear enzo 7000. suck big time. not more than 1 year the center box spoiled. one of the ic got burn. then now change to DA5000 PRO. paired with my 2nd unit xfi extreme audio. 1st unit broke by lighting thunder. so far the performance for music is good. not yet test for movies. but i think its good for sound quality. need to run in first. does has anybody has reviewed for this speaker? i think might need to tune it for the best performance.

Movies 5.1 & Music 2.1... overall sound quality of coz S730 lo....

same decision dilemma that i went through. if you have the soundcard, space & money, go for 5.1.
i took s550 in the end because of cheap pirated DVDs @ malaysia (hello dolby digital & DTS)
i would imagine s730 can go much louder, s550 is not that loud @ volume 50 with cyberlink powerDVD 9 ultra @ AC3 (normal pc-speaker distance, i.e. less than 1 meter).

s550 hv option that can switch from 2 channel to 5 channel..u can choose 2 channel when listening music, switching to 5 channel for playing games and watch movie..
s550 bass not tat strong than s730..but can consider model
Edifier AudioPro S5.1 MK2...is 5.1 channel...ultimate version(combination s550 and s730..hehe...)...but i dun know got sale at malaysia...
