Need help here.I just bought DA5000Pro 2 days back and i realise that the sound is not loud enough. Can u guys recommend me the best usb 5.1soundcard that suit to my system.Btw Im using laptop. Thanks in advance
hmm, first let me know how ur using ur speakers.
for music? gaming? movies?
if ur just listening to music, rarely watch the movies and never play games. then take the onkyo se-200 external(I doubt ur at this type)
if u always play games, action movies, and takes music as 'secondary'. take creative's high end like fatal1ty champion external
if u prefer the balance from these three, try looking for asus's card(based on my friend's experiences)

A question to all the sifus and fans here:
I hear good things about Edifier and am willing to give it a try. I am looking for a system that can pwn and replace my old faithful AL ATP3 speakers and last as long (as of writing, ATP3 speakers are about 8 years now). Will use the speakers just about exclusively for music and the occasional movie/video. The speakers will be connected to my laptop mostly (sometimes to portable CD player).
My musical tastes are very varied-- I listen to classical music (Mozart, Chopin, etc), ethnic stuff (bhajans, gamelan, Japanese and Chinese traditional music), movie soundtracks, choral music (like church music-- Google "Allegri Miserere youtube" and click on the videos if you want to hear what I mean), country music, classic rock like Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Kansas, Queen and AC/DC, heavy metal, New Age stuff and a lot of other things, so the speakers need to be able to cover a wide range, with good clarity of sound (very important) and decent treble and bass.
This afternoon I went and listened to the M3200 and the M3300 as well as the C3 at my local store. Of the three, I definitely liked the C3 sound as it's pretty clear (Can definitely tell the difference between 128 kbps mp3 and 320 kbps mp3-- wanted to test with lossless but couldn't, sadly); with good bass, and still within my price range (RM390) but the size of the subwoofer is going to be a problem as my room is rather small... Did not like the M3200 at all, and M3300 is just... meh.
Are there any other Edifier systems with sound comparable to the C3, but less huge? The store guy said that with my listening tastes leaning towards classical and orchestral I could also go for the M3310 but I haven't been able to hear it yet to judge. I only have a budget of RM400 max.
Please help me?
based on the criteria, it's best 4 u to take the c3..
but yes, if ur looking for the smaller sets u can get s330/s330d.
the difference from their characteristics are:
-c3 sounds fuller(good mid), tight bass(low notes very clear) but not fill the overall sound(for me its' good as the sound will balance, but many people said that's weak bass or somethin'), the high using silk tweeter make them warmer(not bright, not too clear, a bit muffled, have less listening fatigue but some said that's not wide or somethin'

)
have a remote control, external amplifier(great but takes space), treble&bass control and of course slightly higher price
-s330, have dragable, loose bass(can fill the sounds, but some ppl don't like it). the mid unfortunately due to the small midrange driver are not too full(well, many ppl don't care about mid anyway. but not me). and the highs are the best here(bright, clear, wide, due to the tweeter with ring around them. but this make the listening fatigue come faster)
it have cool looking volume knob(with blue halo light), don't have treble control(and the sub's volume control is hard to reach), smaller size which don't take space
that's all I know, and ur choice
hope it helps.
