No matter I complait to MCMC or CFM and CC to TM, the TM just keep ignoring all my complaits and keep quiet! mad.gif

Any ideas on what should I do about it? vmad.gif

I just got a call from TmNutz 10minutes ago after i complained about slow speed to international sites, guess what the technician said....

"Sorry, we only guarantee speed to local sites only but not international sites, we will look into this matter further"

don't you think that is just plain ridiculous??!!

I really do feel that we're being cheated out of our money. What we get is probably (only) the unlimited broadband...but the speed and line quality is terrible. Not only that, tmnet always seem to be coming out with new techniques which limit our download speed...like throttling.

Do remember to challage them and ask them what is Internet in the first place.

Or else ask TMNUT to change thier Streamyx advertisement that it is no longer Internet... Streamyx is CountryNet... LocalNet... with a bit Internet there... mad.gif

FYI, when I called TM again for rebate, this time they gave me report number as they usually just ignore and want you to hang up.

And they said it will take 1 to 3 months to process.

I told them there is a MCMC regulation and they told me he do not need to care of that. MCMC is nothing and only providing guildlines... And still said fastest is 1 month. mad.gif

TM is truly aggorant.... Cheat people money already still can action... vmad.gif

wat i most hate is truly their customer services...keep on ask u to repeat tis n tat n i say already done all still cannot then ask me hold on hold on >10min... vmad.gif ....so tat time me so dulan n ask my father to called them n scold them kao kao.....really song arr tat time......

I just e-mail CMC and cc to TM about thier lousiness of customer service... and e-mail wise refuse to reply and response... just keep quiet..

TM really kurang ajar... mad.gif

starhub is alrdy nt a very good ISP but still better than screamyx

starhub got peak time one... at peak time everything becomes slow... but still faster than screamyx

yup..
ive used all 3 service provider..
tmnet, celc wireless, and mxs wireless,
from my experience:
mxs<celc<tmnet

dunno if im just lucky..

I think TM customer care has been trained to identify the type of complaints and users. For those that launch complaint like slow speed internet, usually they don't give a damn ... but for those who complaint about technical issue, they will serve you better.

I also think TM is the cheatest... Should be champion of all... Hard to beat TM... Maybe TM can rank top among cheatest ISP in the world level also... Malaysia Boleh Spirit again... thumbup.gif

okay this is my opinion,

regarding if some international sites is slow due to congestion or packet drop at certain nodes and expect TM to fix it is just plain ridiculous. its like asking 1 highway operator to repair a highway that was owned by another and complete different highway operator. its funny. biggrin.gif

the only thing i tick of about isp in malaysia is the contract that the user must abide like 12month pr 24month contract that u cannot cancel it easily if u'r not satisfy about their performance. this part is actually a joke by my yamen friend that although his country suck, but the isp doesn't have anything similar like this. they have broadband using pppoa, but the contract they do not. they can cancel the service if they aren't satisfied with the service. i understand to setup a broadband to an area is expensive, but isp should suck up the risk rather than push the cost factor to the user.

one more thing for TM especially, i can't find their bulletin board easily regarding any announcement about their service (down, interruption and etc) and i still am.

The communications industry for broadband especially tier 1 needs to be liberalised to bring in more competitors to improve prices and packages that tmnut fails to deliver.
The only people that voted no clearly are working for tmnut or their shareholders. Even with the sabotage, a vast majority voted that we are cheated. So the statistics speak for themselves ......... nuff said. Now if only our leaders stop turning a blind eye and wipe their smug smiles off their faces, they can fix this crap.

FYI, I am getting less than 10% of the speed I paid monthly... Maybe 5% max... and that also very unstable... average download rate are 0 to 3kB/s

So please understand that there is a reason we call TM as cheater...

And even today, TM still claim nothing wrong with them from point to point! vmad.gif

The government body that handles internet communication regulations needs to supersive tmnet strictly so they cannot make up any rules and restrictions as they like. I'm pretty sure they are guilty of deceitful marketing which doesn't reflect accurately their crappy and restrictively throttled narrowband.

Rebates are just not enough. Tmnut is getting away with providing a crappy service. Nevermind if they provide crappy service, but the sad thing is they are given a monopoly stake in which case it matters a lot because their the only choice we have !

Why isn't there any news on thestar and other media about this ;_;

Honestly, I have to say StreamyX service has been pretty good for me all these while. I have used it for 4 years and it hasnt let me down a bit. The proxification has dent StreamyX reputation for me, but not as much as Maxis has done to me. There is no moving back for me after getting used to broadband for so many years.

We should be getting at least 100% of the speed surfing malaysian site and at least 70-80% of the speed on international site. If they have shit international speed, they need to get more bandwidth/pipe to international site.

If they cant do it, please unbundled the last mile connection (this mean allowing multiple telecommunications operators use of connections from the telephone exchange's central office to the customer's premises) so that OTHER PEOPLE will get us better internet. I am sure you guys at Lowyat can get together to make an ISP that is guarantee better than TMSHIT.

You guys know what is the email address for thestar, feel like writting in email to complain on the newspaper. The transparent proxy thing they just did is just ridiculous.
