so if i want to change to digi prepaid, what i need to do is i port my number from hotlink to it right? and later if i want to change to postpaid then i can change it in the digi center right?

Yes, you are right. Not need DiGi centres actually, any DiGi Specialised Store allows you to do conversion too.

If you wanna port in to Digi, just walk in to any Digi Dealers and fill up the form. Wait for 5 working days time to be ported in to Digi.

If you wanna change to Digi Postpaid. same, just proceed to Digi Dealers and fill up the form. Wait 1-2days for your line to be activated.

i start using hp from 2003 ...
that time maxis is the best ... but digi simpack cheaper (so i bought digi which cost me RM68 while maxis i think around RM128 )
year 2004 i changed to maxis ... coz most of my fren using maxis and they asked me to change to maxis ...
year 2005-2006 changed drastically .. digi user is getting much .... its still OK for me
year 2007 ... i kena su*k by blood sucker until cannot tahan edi ( but still have to tahan coz if change number need to inform frens very mafan)
year 2008/10/27 ... this is the day , i got my freedom , i escaped from vampire ..

Added on October 31, 2008, 1:43 ammy porting process took me only 3-4hours .. complete switch into DIGI from maxis
i dont have to write anything nor sign any document ,,
the worker just took my IC photostat and ask what is my maxis number .. that all .. and i got my new simpack on the spot , not more than 10minutes ..

I going to change to DIgi after I used up all hotlink air-time and free sms....

I was told 1-2 working days in order to get my line converted successfully but DiGi was too efficient for my case, it was activated in 10 minutes!

Usually for prepaid it's quite fast cause unlike postpaid where they'll have to check whether you have outstanding / contracts bla bla. Anyway they'll usually tell you the TAT(Turn Around Time) is 5 working days.

Yes, DiGi Specialised Store was just in front of my apartment. I converted my line there and he gave me a new SIM card telling me I should change it when it shows inactive SIM. Then I reached my apartment, sat down and typing SMS-es suddenly my SMS-es can't be sent out already. Then noticed, it showed inactive SIM.

Bear in mind, I did the conversion around 9.45 p.m.

as far as i know .. yeap .. dont dont la drag too long ..
who know later the promotion expired then u cannot get 1 year free validity .. so port asap ..ahaha

For the time being, Digi gives you 1 year free validity if you port in

if ur existing digi user .. if ur current credit got RM35 .. then key in some code and u'll get 1 year validity too ...

Note: its RM35 .. not RM30

the time varies la .. mayb that time u lucky 10minutes la .. for me it take up to few hours .. but ur line will still active la while waiting
