Mcm mana nak tahu the temperature, coz keta i hanya tunjuk hijau (atau merah kalau overheat) je. Tak ada catatan brp bacaan suhu.

Roadtaxnya RM730, tp sebelum 1 April ni dapat rebate RM200 so jd RM530 lah.

Good morning all! Happy Sunday.
Out of curiousity, where does the temperature showing? Mine only have the temperature sign in green color; does not show in figure. According to owner's guide, this green color sign will go off after ignition swtich is on for few seconds but mine is remain on all the time(I mean the green temp sign). Anyone having this situation or different situation? Must check with SC what is going on.

Lampu hijau akan selalu menyala jika suhu dalam julat operasi, jika suhu melebihi tahap tersebut, lampu merah akan menyala menandakan keadaan tidak normal. Pemandu mesti cepat memberhentikan perjalanan jika ternampak lampu amaran merah tersebut menyala. Sila hantar ke SC untuk pemeriksaan yang terperinci penyebab kenaikan suhu yang tiba-tiba naik itu. Kemungkinan boleh datang dari kekurangan coolant ataupun minyak enjin yang disebabkan oleh kebocoran atau kerosakan pam. (air & minyak enjin). Hanya mekanik yang dapat mengesahkannya.

I installed a temperature gauge. previously my car overheated the indicator flash and flash. suddenly my car cannot start. this I understand is to prevent the engine from overheated. The Green Indicator must be ON. It will flash orange when the temperture is more than 100deg C. The car will fail to Start.
Thinking of installing a oil cooler or an extra Fan

Anda hanya perlu bayar RM530 untuk cukai jalan. Cuba periksa secara terperinci dalam "Vehicle Sales Order" anda. Hanya pendaftaran pada atau selepas 1 April 2009 akan di kenakan RM730 ataupun bergantung kepada berita terbaru, jika ada.

Saya telah jumpa satu lagi kebaikan kenderaan kita. Saya guna perkataan kenderaan kerana setiap daripada kita ada nama tersendiri untuk kebanggaan kita itu.

Terlekat di pintu kecil tempat mengisi minyak, tertulis "93 Unleaded Fuel Only". Ini bermaksud kita boleh menggunakan minyak RON95 bila ia diperkenalkan nanti. Minyak RON95 dikatakan lebih murah daripada RON97 nanti.

Pada saya ini adalah salah satu kebaikan yang dapat kita nikmati dalam pemilikan kebanggaan kita.

Betul Drom, this engine is a long stroke engine and compression ratio is 9, which 93 unleaded is more suitable to use. Long stroke engine needs petrol that burn longer time which it can produce more torque. RON 97 petrol is more for engine which has shorter stroke and high compression ratio; above 9.80. Kereta kita ni lebih sesuai guna RON93 instead of RON 97.

memang pengguna chery eastar/crossover v5/enigma/cross eastar/eastarma.........beruntung ..........RON RON ....kalau mcm tu leh test kat esso ...pakai RON 93....ha ha....

make sure ....buat homework and tanya pihak SC...kan warranty void pulaks.......

The Compression ratio is, simply, the number of compression strokes the car engine's cylinder goes through before the fuel is ignited. The compression ratio of your engine determines the octane rating of the gas you must use in the car. The problem with too much compression is the side effect of pre-ignition, most commonly known as "detonation", "knocking" or "pinging."

This will definitely damage an engine unless the ignition or "spark" is held back. This is where a higher octane level fuel comes in. It allows the engine to run to full compression levels without pre-igniting, thus giving the illusion of a more powerful gas.

Correction. Compression ratio is not the number of compression strokes. A complete 4 stroke engine cycle has only 1 compression stroke, this does not change or vary between different cars of similar 4 stroke technology. It is the ratio between the volume of the cylinder & the combustion chamber when the piston is at the bottom of its stroke (aka BDC, bottom dead centre), and the volume of the combustion chamber when the piston is at the top of its stroke (aka TDC, top dead centre).

In a nutshell, the higher performance cars have higher compression ratios (eg 12.0:1) vs a family car (9.5:1) <- Just for example. This comparison are only true for NA (Natural aspirated cars) and not to be used or confused with forced fed induction (Turbo or Supercharged) type engines which run a low compression.

Angin masuk? Do you mean wind noise when it is at higher speed? Or asap busuk masuk kereta? We have discussed the wind noise which come from wing mirror, you can refer back to this forum page 22~23. This area is the most noisy one. Once you solved this area, the car is much quiter. Try it out.

last time I'd this problem...not experincing high pickup as most of the easterian claims...later found out that my customized mat had actually blocked the movement of the accelerator, well today I'd removed the mat and replace it with a rubber mat....results...damn powerful!

also, when you're playing the CD and you press "MUTE" on the steering, it is actually pause the CD played not only mute the sound. another thing, when you tune up the volume said 15 and off the player, when you switch on again, it will reset it to 5...just to protect the speaker...good feature...

TOP 3 pending issue unsolved....
1. sound on the dashboard (not due to dashboard something about assemble of the chasis)
2. aircons intermitten switch off automatic (no solution from SC)
3. water leaking on the rear (not bother to solve as it is not very serious, only leak in when I open the rear door)
