Masa you buka cover frame pintu sebelah dalam tu dia punya plug senang patah ke?

Terus tanya, no worry, sharing sahaja utk semua Eastar lovers. Agak senang buka tetapi tak senang pasang ya. Plastic di bawah lantai tepi tak ada plug plastic; senang buka senang pasang balik. Tetapi yg depan tepi tu susah pasang. Jangan risau plug patah, u bolih beli spare di luar kedai accessary(quality lebih bagus). My opinion, boleh cuba kedua-dua pintu belakang dulu(easy), baru try depan. Kalau ada masa, u can try bcos worth. The car really very quiet. To me, I am very satisfy walau pun ambil banyak masa. Saya nak try banyak tempat lagi....share with you later ok?

One more work done earlier for insulation, just sharing. This area is the front mud guard(just behind the front tyres, on the body). Turn the tyre inward, can unplug those plug with small screw driver easily without much problem and losen one screw(size 7). Then the half of the plastic can be lifted side way to do the work. The picture showing flashband is put on the plastic mud guard(double layers) and the body mud guard. You can use yr hand to feel the inner top side of the body mud guard, try to put the flashband until the top. In doing so, they can insulate the tyres/road sound and the sound fr the water splashing onto the plastic mud-guard. This is quite an easy job and does not take much time but very effective. Everyone can try!

where can we get the flashband and how much does it cost?

Can buy flashband from any hardware shop. RM20 for one rim 2in width and RM40 for one rim 4in width. Price may vary.

Smliu have u manage 2 buy the round rubber for the 6 round holes underneath our mpv?seems like all mpv have it barely open.will try 2 get it tmrw.maybe hware or spare parts shop.any 1 have complain 2 our SC? smliu i need your hp no.lastly how much cost 4 yr insulation project so far.seems u learnt a lot from autohome.cn ya? Ha ha

Chrome plate type?

No. The rubber plug don't have available Eastar spec. So, I am trying to claim this from SC this Monday. Yes, all 8 holes will allow smoke, dust, mud even water go into the car. After few years, the car will be very dirty and heavy. So, far, I bought one rim 4in and two rim 2in of falshband for RM80. Used abt 70% already. Actually, I put some extra on places which i think necessary bcos once you open it, why not do it right for the 1st time! For those dun have much time, cover the 8 holes at the bottom, put one layer for inner door frame each(important is to cover those holes), one layer for body mud guard and one layer on the plastic mud guard. The result will be excellent. I estimate it cost RM120 to complete the whole insulation project. Yes, thanks for the Autohome.cn you introduced to me. But they are doing the whole flooring which I think very expansive and not necessary(they claim that the insulation foam has increased the car weight a lot). I am targeting on problem areas and just want to solve the problem for lower cost, lesser time.
Once you complete the 3 steps, the Eastar is running a silent mode. You will feel very confortable inside.

hai guys!i hv checked my car and seems that the holes that smilu mentioned is cevered wt white rubber,maybe mine is 09 model so they already covered,one more thing bout the petrol,i put rm 100 but only got about 440km,is it normal??

RM100 for 440km is very good FC if you are town driving; abt 22+cents. Only long distant driving can get 19cents or less. Can't believe the MPV FC is so good!

Lagi satu idea sementara untuk menutup 8 lubang tersebut, Sila rujuk pada gambar. Saya beli di kedai 1.99 dengan harga 2.00 untuk 8 keping yang bersaiz 50 sen. Ia berpelekat di permukaan yang sebelah lagi, jadi cuma lekatkan pada tempat yang dikehendaki.
