It is also luck to buy a car. My friend bought a Altis and facing the same problem but the problem come from front wind screen. No choice but have to go back to SC to rework. Sorry for what you are facing.
As long as problem can be solved without much difficulty, take it easy.

Siapa sanggup volunteer easter dia untuk dijadikan model untuk syarikat "airmaster" buat design and develop bodykit untuk chery easter. At first i volunteer tapi bila kena tinggal kereta dalam 1 1/2 bulan kat workshop dia, tak sanggup..sayang kereta.

thanks guys for the key info,any idea how much is the cost to make the spare remote?just did tinted to my car today at master tint behind tesco puchong,total bills come up to rm1000 fo the whole car,heat reduction 85%.park my car tis afternoon outside my porch to test and it really does cut the heat.my leather seat n my dashboard dont feel hot as b4.

Hi Anybody know what kind of warranty the car carry. example , only engine?. battery normally has only 6 months. AirCon 1 year etc

my batch ....prod no 40 .....bought in Oct 08 ....3 yrs warranty +...1 year free service or 20K KM ...FOC .....on the warranty it covers your engine , gearbox , etc .....on the paint also covers 10 years .......

This is what Chery quote to me, for your reference.
a. Blank key = RM 77.80
b. Controller = RM 63.88
c. Computerize Programming = RM 50.00
Total = RM191.68
Further, I have checked with one of the lock smith chain store. According to them, their epuipment confirmed able to duplicate the remote comtrol but still need to to confirm with the car whether it works or not. To their experience, some car alarm system will reject any duplicated remote control; not original. Since I ordered from Chery, I did not try.
If I did not ordered from Chery, I will choose to duplicate outside because it is just a spare key. Only RM55~65.

i think ....blank key can be duplicated ....controller and programming kena pegi chery la......if blank key can be duplicated already save ....coz i think duplicate blank keys might cost you only RM 10 -RM 30 ....

yes that's right..I oso got that price from cherry.
I've already tried duplicate. machine confirms ok but only can use once on my car.
so then that locksmith tried it with several keys..olso same .
So better to get it direct from cherry I think..

ye la ...knight rider...now got new version of that intelligent car ...kat astro......sure tak tgk ni.....he he.....

Semua huruf P, R, N, D mesti menyala mengikut kedudukan gear pilihan anda. LCD anda bermasalah jika tidak terdapat abjab tersebut. Sila rujuk balik ke SC untuk pembaikan.
