Omega, about the license thingy there is no way u can get away even if the said specimen was given by a fren or "cb" because the thumb rule is that any cites related animal, especially cites 1 are no where to be accepted as "ok". For the officers to say its ok, i think its just another bait to capture those animal keeper and confiscate their animal.

I think you need to read more on V2 and V3 to get the rough idea on what's happening now, so that you would understand why people here reacted that way. I know you want to share with us on the info given to you but we were stating the real world situation and explaining things to you from our experiences.

U remind me of someone who cant have his/her opinion doubted from your comments above. If comments are not accurate, you can courteously correct them and give your opinion like uzairi or valjean. No need to recourse to foul language and brute force. It gives ppl an idea that you have a very big ego and can't stand to be corrected or even accept the fact that everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion. You may be quite helpful sometimes in your post about TTT but pls show some manners and courtesy in your post even if you disagree. It's just about sharing. Kindly see how ppl with some integrity and manners reply..eg samperth, uzairi and valjean. . . these will be ppl whose opinion i accept and respect, not someone who curse and mock others albeit sarcastically. We are in this for the same interest on TTT, otherwise you think I would bother to reply or even post anything. From your reply and mannerism, I can gauge your level of maturity and humility..although I had much higher expectations of you from your earlier posts and I really hope you would maintain your earlier standards.

hey guys . i have a problem and i have no idea where to ask,since this is the turtle forum, il ask my question here.


i have 4 turtles , 3 res and one long neck turtle. and a 3 feet aquarium.

the problem is maintaining the aquarium.
after i change the water , the water in the aquarium goes clouddy and muddy so quickly. Like 3-4 days after the water cchange. I dont have time as im buzy in college most of it and its hard to take care off. cleaning a 3ft tank is kinda hard coz i have to drag the heavy aquarium to the bathroom once a week...

my RES also looks unhealthy and im kinda sad =[

i have a filter but i dont tink its working good enough.

and ive been looking all over where to purchase basking spots for my turtle...

would anyone kindly give me tips on what type of stuff do i buy [ filters,heating lights ] and where? checked out other forums but too much info can be so confusing!

a bigger filter is necessary for big tanks... add some beneficial bacteria inside to further decompose the poo and uneaten food....

u dont need to drag the whole aquarium to the toilet ler... siphon the water out and replace with clean water... use a sponge to clean the stubborn dirt before siphoning the water out...

basking spot can use any nice flat rock/stone... how large/tall depending on how deep ur water level is... try get rocks with flat surface and minimal sharp edges to prevent cuts to ur turtle....

lights must use UVA n UVB lights....

jz my 2 cents..

maybe u need bigger filter.sometimes their food like uneaten pellet also make the water cloudy.but i dont think RES can let the food left uneaten,ha3..and thats right,no need to drag ur heavy aquarium,just use tube..one more,u can buy that floating 'basking spot' at pet safari..
