QUOTE(Ashikune @ Dec 29 2008, 02:22 AM) Haha been meaning to ask if you had received your laptop. Good to know it arrived so promptly. I just placed an order for an NP8660(similar specs to yours), all the while worrying that something would go dreadfully wrong during shipping. Definitely reassuring to hear from you Hahaha I can totally understand your feeling, as I mentioned earlier, it took 4 business days to arrive but its actually longer if I count the non-business day... the waiting really shorten my life span lol. Don't worry I'm using the same shipping option as yours. After the machine arrived in Malaysia, USPS actually hand the goods to Pos Laju and they'll send it to you using EMS. My case though and no joking its really Express, pretty fast but I think my dad told me that he had to pay the EMS charges for me... Well... I'm still kind of over excited ATM so don't really remember lol, good luck! @Corad Lol I'm surprised we're in the same university. Good like in your next semester! |

But I'm confused, does xoticpc ship internationally ? If it does, how are the payment methods ? How long does it take from the day u place your order and the product comes to your doorstep ? |

The price is no more 6.1k as it require student discount to do so which only available during certain period of time. Not sure about the detail as I never come across such promotion.
However the US$400 discount will be over today, be fast. |

Student prices for a Sager? You've got to be kidding? Does it apply for high school students only or what? And when's the period for that?

USD 223 standard rate with tracking. But I'm confused, does xoticpc ship internationally ? If it does, how are the payment methods ? The keys here aren't really a plus point... Was expecting a little more upmarket feel on the keys since Sager is a custom and upmarket brand...

QUOTE(Enigmare @ Jan 7 2009, 08:19 PM) clevo is an OEM manufacture. they ship barebone laptops (chasis/screen/graphic card) to vendors such as Sager, Falcon Northwest, Rock , Kolbalt Komputers etc to be sold off to consumers with addition components (RAM, HDD, Optical driver etc) i like this quote from notebookreview.com QUOTE Without a doubt, the NP8660 is an awesome all-around performer. This 15.4-inch gaming notebook is the fastest in its class for gaming performance, and is faster than many 17-inch gaming notebooks. I give the NP8660 my full recommendation for gamers looking for a suitable machine. added to 1st post |
