my current card is MSI 7600gt 512 DDR2 AGP8x was planning to cahnge to either 1)X2600XT 512 DDR3 128bit 2)x1950XT 256 DDR3 256bit 3)3850 512 DDR3 256 bit which can out perform better in agp slot? |

i think the 3850 would be the best out of those 3 that you listed. it's the latest ati series of agp cards available now. most probably will be bottlenecked, coz running on p4 only.
btw, ray & rogue, i'm also near sungai chua only, studying at UNITEN currently |

QUOTE(~Rogue~ @ Jan 17 2009, 12:08 PM) guys planning to change my GPU and is it worth and will it bottleneck my com? The HD3850 would perform better compare the other you listed. But since you are using P4, I guess is would be a bottleneck issue. my current card is MSI 7600gt 512 DDR2 AGP8x was planning to cahnge to either 1)X2600XT 512 DDR3 128bit 2)x1950XT 256 DDR3 256bit 3)3850 512 DDR3 256 bit which can out perform better in agp slot? I would suggest taking the X2600 or X1950 instead. If you have the money for the best, then take the HD3850. |

x1950 is pricey no worthy, suggest 2600xt
i am using right n0w so far so good btw make u no using cap palang PSU the card u listed is power hunger. (2600 performance almost = 8600Gt but due to we only using P4 so the performance will be less compare pci version.) 3850 (RM 795 kind of waste) x1950 pro RM 530 XT RM 580 2600XT only 300 (same so buck to hunt c2d 2nd hand ><) This post has been edited by bai1101: Jan 17 2009, 05:35 PM |

This mobo used DDR2 and PCIE. can this mobo support my proc? coz its like the pci-e socket 478 mobo! If you plan to upgrade, might as well just shift to C2D platform. |

I'm doubt that 2600XT is about par with 8600GT in PCI-E. i am using right n0w so far so good btw make u no using cap palang PSU the card u listed is power hunger. Heyo.. How's everyone?
@~Rogue~ Ah.. Dont think there is a good move for shifting P4 proc into DDR2 and PCIE era as the will gona be a great overall bottlenecking in ur system. |
