Ehehe.. Adalah! Actually i have the idea of moving to vista as well. But my main concern is torrent downloading and vista is having problem with the TCP/IP thingy. Especially the x64 version where will caused BSOD if the TCP/IP been patched.

edmin, Hah.. Yea.. Saw that thread but ain't sure it is DIMM or SODIMM couse the pitca dont really clear. Owh? Really? But no time to format pc as rushing for assignment. Maybe wait i go my summer break than have a try on vista.

Maybe a trimp down version of vista will work fine for S478. Where lotsa unwanted thingy been killed and took away.

Well.. IMHO if without gaming, vista is a good way to go. Atleast feel refresh with the new aero interface.

Haha.. Whats the point of w98 and w95 man? Where u gain speedy OS but u can do nothing with it. Recently game / apps are not supported.

Anyhow, it is just unoptimized driver for old sch cards like edmin mentioned in previous. So far those new card 8/9 series are doing quite well in gaming with vista. Eve now, benchies in made on vista machine already.

Haha.. EEE or Aspire one will be my choice. But still have to wait until Dell's release. MSI wind wasn't a wise choice as the price is almost same with a notebook. 1.7-1.9k. Aspire one might be the good one if put on price vs performance ratio. And the color quite nice also.

LOL.. Work with HP before. And their products are Anyways, HP currentCompaq Presario CQ series are ran on HP pavilion body (case).. It tempting man. Sexy looks! If u dont look at the big Q and the top, u will think that is Pavilion series. And the price is quite cheap also. RM18xx some the amd based with integrated HD3200.
