Lost my Yonex World Champ 40 yesterday after a year serving me. I put it on top of the car, then forgot to take it in straight drive, the shoes dropped off. Then realized and came back to the scene the guard there said a person with motocycle picked it up already. Altho its not expensive but it has served me well this year.

Went to Pertama to get a new shoes today, after looking around at last I didnt get badminton shoes, I got myself Umbro Varsity futsal shoes for RM69 haha. Poor man poor man.

Restring my AT700 with bg80 25lbs in Racketworld, seems the racket prices really killing. (Saw a 1st gen AT700 but too bad it was not for sale as someone sends it for stringing, damn !)

you rather spend more on the racket but refuse to invest on a proper and better shoes to protect your foot that support your whole body weight? what a genius. . . . . . I rather get a cheaper racket but a better shoes, for most of the beginner to intermediate level player, expensive racket won't really make their skill or performance jump to a higher level one; now I using RM170 Yonex NS500 and RM110 Apacs ES108 only with RM180 Nike Court III shoes, hopefully next time got more budget and upgrade to a better shoes; we only got 2 leg that will follow us for the rest of our life, so take care and protect him!

What a genius ? I'd take that as compliment. If you search and read around, shoes are very personal thing. And you think Nike Court III shoes are enough to protect your knee with such thin sole ? I personally try out the high end SHB series but it doesnt really designed for my feet . And perhaps getting the Asics gel series if it suits my feet today. Owh I do play futsal too, the reason I got the Umbros yesterday my dear sifu. biggrin.gif

LYN is full of geniuses, instead of giving advices properly they choose to shoot. I would have explained it properly if you construct your phrase in better manner. But thanks anyway, at least you compliment your bs with some advices tongue.gif

chill fellas..

honestly i think futsal shoe and badminton shoe is 2 different type of shoes..
for me, futsal shoe has lesser support (maybe due to the narrower base) and tighter (to feel the ball when kicking)
badminton shoe on the other hand, provides more support and of course, less tight to occupy more foot movement

jz my 2 cents from my experience
comparing nike total 90 and yonex ultima 100 shoe

=.='

Using Futsal shoe play badminton? kind of joke neh

Futsal shoe shape design for kick ball which is the shoe face are not stable. If u use for badminton it might sparined leg anytime.

Badminton are stable in surface and the shoe each side right and left are protect ur foot run off.

And the last answer for shoe, The best shoe to use is Asics which is support ur knee as well.Yonex don have any gel to protect ur knee which is if ur age reach 35+ u can see it the ur knee getting pain.

Shoes eh, i wearing jogging shoe whistling.gif

Btw, what is a good all rounder racket at the price range of RM150 + - ?
Heard that 'Prince' is not bad for that price range... while Yonex is only good when the price is high, so Yonex is out for me i guess...

Juz curious and wanna do some survey b4 spending..
I would say my limit of budget is Rm 300..
Dun mind whether is Yonex, Li-Ning or Apac..

ya, Nike Court3 is not the best badminton shoes out there to protect my knee, you see me use cheap racket also know I am not rich enough to get a more better and expensive shoes, but it should be better then your Umbros futsal shoes. . . and I hope you can enjoy playing badminton with your futsal shoes also. . .

never use before, should be a good string for offensive player, but the normal BG66 0.66mm is quite famous for it short lifespan, cannot imagine this BG66 maxima 0.65mm can last how long; BG80 is still my best choice now. . .

Bg66 Maxima : Very sharp sound , return shuttle with a soft touch But then snap very fast and very pricey. So not worth it to use it better take Bg66..

You are either cant read simple english or darn ignorant, either way its not good to stir up the fire, come I explain it properly to you - I would like to let you, Omage007, know that, the Umbro futsal shoes are for futsal brother, I didnt mention or say in any of my post it was for badminton, perhaps my last line "Poor man, poor man" is misleading you so now im clearing it up hopefully u'll understand mister. I dont belittle people with cheap racket as I concern skills are playing better role but I do "envy" your ignorance and lack of understanding. And till now Im still looking for a decent pair of badminton shoes. Hope you understand ok Omage007 and thank you for the advice and wish, next time if got chance I belanja U Teh Tarik rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Btw damn, Pertama, Campbell, dont have US12 or US13 in stock for any model. Probably going to AJ or Hock Eng tomorrow. Kesian me being big footed . Anyone wants me to check on anything ?

bro,
The spec from yonex site looks good, much more durable then the old BG66 and somewhat on par with the nbg95. I had been using bg80 for 1 or 2 month liou. My noob comment is - it's not a string for low tension, it don't really work well with 24lbs. After a month or so it feels like hitting porous foam when i whack and sounds muddy but anyway no doubt the feel is good when it's still new.

I where got vmad.gif , Im biggrin.gif

What gear to molest la haha, takkan 50mm f/1.8 u mau ? Instead, let me molest you, I mean your gear ! tongue.gif

Btw on a serious note, I just changed my BG66 as stated in previous post, at first it was great but it loses tension during few session, I dont know whether its the stringer problem or what, so I changed to BG80 at 25lbs now, so far so good (But I only few minutes with it, not having any session yet due to finding shoes). Let us know the outcome after u try it out okie. If I go to the racket stores I'll check it out for you then.
