5800 doesn't comes with a-gps meh? normally phones nowadays come with a-gps in order to shorten the signal locking time... However.. you will being charged for that as it uses GPRS, EDGE or 3G shakehead.gif ... so... part of the users will disable it... and wait longer for the GPS to function hmm.gif

my software is in alpha mode.still under heavy testing, but it supports both SMS plotting and also by log file.

I burned my RM30 prepaid celcom by 2 days of tracking wink.gif .....so SMS option is quite expensive..so I wrote a logger using Python script running every 5 secs on E71. And later I can upload to the application and plot it automatically.

Hello wherever there is signal the worse there is GPRS.
With unlimited plan its only RM68 or 1 day RM6 only for celcom u can track go around malaysia come back only Rm6.

Sms can be costly if too many data keep sending itself even more expensive than data plan

on the cost part of your weekend hobby, you can try this to lower your cost
go grab a pair of digi prepaid (won't cost much, sim pack rather cheap these days), subscribe for super sms
that shd allow you allow you unlimited sms digi-digi for 50 sen a day, since you're sending alot of sms from one number to just 1 other number.

i hope this can help, won't use up to rm30 in 2 days, which is quite costly.

alternatively, why not look into those 1 sen/sms stuff when you add that number to your list.
