Haha you seems like discouraging new GPS users from using MSM.

Im just stated to use garmin, well "ahem'ed" but at my GPS status always no GPS signal, very weak, red bar, 1 bar only. Is this the problem with the phone or garmin?

Damn this is confusing...

malsingmaps and malfreemaps are originally from the same people and only around last year they decided to seperate because

a) malsingmaps wants to only provide the latest maps to contributors
b) malfreemaps wants to provide the latest maps to everyone even if you'e not a contributor

Is this correct?

yet strangely because of this move, there are a more contributors for malfreemaps?




btw a lot of ppl wondering how can they contribute the POI for malsingmaps if the map they give is the old one.. the answer is that actually there is an updated map that can be viewed only on the PC that is locked. So you need an app to view the latest map there and contribute..

if its 1bar means it is not ready for the satellite is not ready yet. Have you tried Assisted GPS to help you get a lock?

Assisted GPS? what does it means? im not using bluetooth gps, now currently using built in n82 gps. last night when i use wan ok, but today only 1 bar.

for nokia 5800, use what version? i use the v3 version, but the next cant seems to be detected.... anyone to help??

Since they want to make it so difficult for newbies to use Malsingmap, many have chosen to use Malfreemap. That is why Malfreemap is getting more and more popular now.

of course . Malfreemap just download and copy into phone.

Malsingmap very complicated you need register an account then you need submit 2 POI then u need request an unlock code. Then only you can download then nvm their update very slow.

guys, i need help! i took my nokia back to workshop for repairs. came back i insert back the memory card but garmin cannot be detected as well a few programs.

want to ask, how to make it appear again? or do i need to reinstall? i can still see all my installed files in my memory card.

if worse come to worse, i will reinstall but how to backup all my saved locations? which file should i copy over?

hi everyone, my brother brought me back a Blacberry Peal 8110. I found out it has a GPS function, but dono why doesn't have any software or map comes with the phone.

Can anyone teach me how to install software or if take to sg wang to install map n GPS software, how much does it cost ??
