in Malaysia there are two mapstht we can use.. it is MalfreeMaps and Malsing Maps..

i always use malfreempas.. and you can download the updates weekly from malfreempas.com

the map in garminXt also better than Ovi Maps..[except for 3D view that is in Ovi Maps]

anyway.. where is your hometown..?

can.... in your garminxt go to tools>> setting >> routing >> avoidance setup >> tick the toll roads[usually.. it is highway roads] , and tick the major roads[ not so sure about this.. but you can have a try]

hi i just purchased a nokia e52 with garmin mobile ext installed in. I have a problem with it whereby everytime i open garmin, it crashes after a few minutes. any idea what's the problem? problem with the garmin software or with the phone?

the one im using is 5.00.30. i tried updating to that version but it still crashes.
i can open the garmin software fine, but the moment i start the turn by turn navigation the screen freezes, then it just crashes. could it be something to do with the s60 firmware compatibility?

seems that when you open garmin.. dont open any other software..
if u do multi task.. it will crash..

mind that your ram is only 128MB
maybe garmin use a lot of ram memory..

for my garmin mobile xt i installed poi few weeks ago, recently it suddenly gives me confirmation dialog box to press ok or cancel whenever i there is redlight camera, how to turn this offf? thank you
