I have to agree with this point. Non-reference PCBs that don't improve on the original are trouble.

the main purpose for 4670 is not just about mainstream gaming. the other very important feature is 7.1 LPCM hrough HDMI (only 4850 has it) to satisfy HTPC kaki.

Ooo I didn't know this. Strong la - another GC candidate for my HTPC project =p

it's RM349 in ALL IT
the benchmark shows that 4670 wins 3850 though

Rockrock has a sapphire one for RM320. Damn cheap for a new card.

for rm29 difference i'd rather stick with ALL IT though since it is nearer to my place tongue.gif but is it still a premium price? i read that the price should be below RM300

Fair enough if you live in PJ. I hate digital mall though - no parking one. And if you go there in daytime there's a 50/50 risk of MBPJ officers causing havoc. Lol.

Oo I didn't know there was a branch in Ikano. I live in KL though, so LYP is actually closer for me =p

This says it will be above 4670 below 4850:

I guess it's all down to pricing.

Why would you Crossfire 4670s when a single 4850 is cheaper? Crossfire means more power, usage of both PCI-E slots cutting off upgrade path, and driver issues with dual GPU.

Why not order online from shops like moderno etc? Surely the trouble of driving down (petrol, toll, time etc) makes the postage worth it. Unless of course you're in KL for something la.

A few HD4830s were shipped with the incorrect pre-production BIOS, affecting performance:
