I saw plenty at lowyat plaza yesterday, just aim at smaller shop. And for the RAM, I got it separately at one of the 4th floor shop (on the way to the All IT hypermart, on the left shop) for RM76 for each 2gb Kingston 400mHz ddrII800 btw, the cpu temperature a bit hot, around 70-71C on idle This post has been edited by kurikuraX: Nov 24 2008, 07:35 AM

QUOTE(jamallj @ Nov 24 2008, 01:55 AM) sis.. might i ask?.. where do you get it from.. might want to buy one also.. I got it from the HP outlet outside Lowyat. Just opposite. Seems to have better deal there. The one with 160GB was only 1700++ Mine, the 250GB one, comes with either free 3GB RAM or HP backpack, but i added another 1GB.

i've had my cq40-126ax for 3 weeks now. when i put it on my logitech alto cordless notebook stand, i just realised the headphone terminal gets blocked . hahaha, anyone have any ideas how can i insert headphones/speakers jack to the cq40 using this type of notebook stand??
by the way, i'm not sure 100% but when i put kingston 2x2gb hyperx ddr2 800mhz ram into the cq40, it didnt show much difference compared to 2x2gb corsair ddr2 667mhz ram.
anyone agree with me??

Try using extension plug or cable? system will be snappier with 800mhz. I have benchmarked before and latency drop around 10ns. In real world hardly noticable though.

Read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dual-channelQUOTE Tom's Hardware found little significant difference between single-channel and dual-channel configurations in synthetic and gaming benchmarks (using a "modern" system setup). Dual channel at best might give a 5% speed increase in memory intensive tasks, not even close to the two times that "dual" suggests[3].
It should be noted that Tom's Hardware had a discrete graphics comparison. The difference is significant (~25%) for any 3D apps when using integrated graphics.
