if just normal gaming, the processor doesn't really gv much difference, if u r playing dota, almost all laptop r the same since that game r very old, if u wanna try the limit of ur GPU go ahead and try crysis, COD4, red alert 3, need for speed.

anyone knows where the 125AX is still available? the latest price lists from lowyat stores have taken it off...probably excess demand and the inability to raise prices...any lowyat kaki's here? i live quite far away

Im not rure about lowyat plaza but i got my 126AX at mines shopping complex. Several shops have this 125AX, try level 4 there. Good luck


the proc is ok, heat is another issue but it seem acceptable for me. Im using for wordprocessor and normal gaming. I play crazy shooter online on high setting and waala...no regret at all hahahahaha

Added on November 9, 2008, 8:57 amoh, one more thing. When my lappie wokeup from sleep mode, it seem like the [fnc] button pressed constantly...i need to restart to make it disable again. Anybody encounter this issue?

If i upgrade 4gb 800mhz, can i use this laptop with vista x64??How is the performance than vista x32? correct me if i'm wrong..B4 i make a upgrading of this laptop...

You can even run Vista x64 with 2GB of RAM. Thats not the problem. People say its way faster then 32-bit. At this moment I am using 32-bit as well , I haven't seen the whole need to upgrade to 64-bit. Maybe once Windows 7 is out its time to move on to 64-bit. You must bear in mind that some old stubborn software wouldn't work in 64-bit and some cheap china made products also wouldn't work on 64-bit as well (these folks don't even have a 64-bit driver)

^ Yeah totally agreed. Its not a good time to move on 64bit platform..yet. Im running smooth on 32bit platform and i think 32bit enough for now...unless the major prob with driver solved

It would be ideal to use 64bit OS if you have more than 3GB RAM.

i really frustrated wif the dvd rom of tis laptop .. manage to read only 1 out of my 10 dvds ....

So far I have 0 problems although I dont use DVD much. Did you update to latest bios?

that why i avoid a laptop with SAMSUNG DVD DRIVE/

no problem with my drive..it burns all kind of dvd so far from china made until branded one..

hehehe..got no time to play around with this baby much further..
will uninstall all the unnecessary software from HP/3rd party.. need to relocate the HDD to split the partition later...
