I'm just a newbie.

1. Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com for many other softwares. Most of them are free.
2. GPS service is free but the software are likely not. Try garmin or mapking, they both work very well for Malaysia maps.

Garmin and mapking is not free. You can see details of those software by searching in google. If you travel to another country, i.e. australia, you will need to download the australian map.

how much the prices for garmin & mapking???
means if i buy either the two software then i can use the gps...
so other meaning in htc it self do not have gps software???

Hi all... have been using the TP for a few weeks now. Really getting to like it alot... one of my only gripes... is it just my phone, or is the reception for TP not as good as a normal mobile phone? ESP with MAXIS... wow.... some places other ppl got 3 to full bar mine is one. can be really bad at times...

i just purchased my TP just now for Rm2600 (2nd hand) with 10 months SIS warranty left + 2gb microsd + screen protector.. the touch is responsive, i really like it.. but need to get use with the qwerty.. coz i still press 'FN' + 'N' to get number '8' whereas i just can the 8 at the above i will slowly forget my tytn n going to love my new toy even i'm a little bit late compare to other seniors

the latest ROM is 1.90.707.3 WWE...so still waiting for new ROM to come out

Added on December 2, 2008, 8:32 amya lo...but touch HD purposely is for entertainment like watching video..it have bigger resolution 480x800, stock quotes, 3.5 jack,5 mega cam and other is same spec as touch pro...for me wont go to HD...too big screen if wanna hit the close button need use two hand..one hand hold the phone one hand hit the close button..lolx

anyone spotted those flip type leather case for TP yet locally? whats the usual price for them?my htc pouch is starting to crack...

Ill be selling Capdase Leather cases for TP, TD and other new PDAs. Ill be setting up the thread after my exams, around 10th of Dec. Will keep u all informed

Get the Capdase case. although it's kind a bulky a bit. but it looks elegant. Costs me RM130 for the case I've bought at lowyat.

yeah, mine also like not very good reception. dunno if it's a hardware thing or can still be tweaked. tho it's not very bad until cannot tahan lah...
