no, i do not have call in volume problem, mine is clear and loud ! probably those unfortunate one got the lemon unit! i strongly you guys test this out before purchase it cos it's a so-called known issue highlighted in XDA forum!

will test it tomorrow. Initial test driving home using Mapking. the volume is quite alright.

got mine from LYP at rm3049 with sandisk 8gb. the first set sold to me were used by somebody coz the call registry recorded 15 minutes of incoming calls, went back and got a newer replacement. some of the new set lack of QC coz ive noticed of of them got a bad sliding part. always inspect thoroughly before get ur TP. add me to the user list. thanks

D%(n. My TP is having problem again. Since yesterday, intermittently when receiving call it is mute where both side cannot hear each other. The only solution is to soft reset it. From the XDA forum it is reported from HTC that it is hardware problem. Will call PDA expert to ask for a change.

I just got quoted RM2999 for TP from pdaexpert with extra 1 year warranty and 4gb, wonder whether it is a good deal. By the way do you guys noe any must have applications for a pda phone? like resco file explorer and such?

Wow... the maxis is giving a pretty good deal... any PDA Expert giving a comparable deal??? Maybe not as cheap but lower than RM2999 with the freebies as per maxis deal... very tempting very tempting....

Value Plus 80 still can get all the freebies with TP @ RM2499 (not bad ehh). TD Value Plus RM150 can buy at RM1999 and Value Plus 80 at RM2199 with Free HTC desktop charger, BT headset, 4GB flash drive, 12 months extended warranty and car charger

Not really..u know why..TD being offered since last month at RM1999 ....yet PDA Expert and SIS still maintain RM2799  TP and TD is a hot item now...im not sure they gonna revise price that soon. Maybe beginning 2nd quarter 2009?

Bought the TP today under the Maxis deal. Gonna play around with it now.

In the manual, it says that the screen protector is provided? I can't seem to find mine there.. it can't be that transparent piece of thing that sticks to the screen when we first purchase the phone right?

For Value Plus 80, TP costs RM2499. Remember there's a contract of 2 years.

One question: which folder should I place my alarm ringtones in so that Windows Mobile can detect them? It's not detecting the ringtones I placed in the Windows folder.
