I dont really know why.Gaming Crysis quite long edy with the card,yet no crashes/black out.Even Furmark 30 minutes report well.(Tested before packing the card)..
Maybe you could try gaming..?

I had tried test games benchmark eg DMC4 & WIC but not with the mem set at its stock 1100mhz but at 1000mhz..
It ran ok but i had to lose out the extra mem bandwidth ah.. Don't want ler to use a cripple card meh..

The temp at idle is kinda like the temps i get when i was using the reference 4850..
If i'm not mistaken around 6x idle and at full load i'm not sure could be 7x~80c i think.. Fan speed at 40%..
I've already taken it out and using my 4870, hmmm i'll try again later ah when i'm back from work..

Haihhhh.. Maybe it's just my damn luck ah..

If you change back to your old gc, your pc can power up? I'm using 450W as well no problem

You got friends using 4850GS? Can borrow their card to test on your pc see is it the psu problem or not. There's alot of psu below Rm250.

RM250 below.. that's enough for a Vantec 550W/600W like mine.

Vantec PSU so far serves me well. No problems whatsoever. And its cables are already sleeved in blue. It's ideal for your budget IMO.

Firstly, i wanna know is it u using the PSU same as mine? (Refer my sig) Cos i can run it well so far for 2 days 24/7.
Ok, if you budget really enough i will recommend the Corsair PSU, very power at single rail and even 450 watt is enough for this 4850GS baby but if for future upgrade or more component to add on, u might take at least 550 watt since now buy 450 watt seem not so worth.
